Which power rack will last forever?
Rep won’t let you down. Great equipment and customer service. It’s on par with Rogue for the most part, the differences don’t really justify the price difference for comparable items unless you want made in US items. For reference, I have a PR-5000 with Ares 2.0 and absolutely love it. I have a few Rogue items, their jammer arms being the largest purchase and they are all nice.

Which power rack will last forever?
REP fitness PR-5000 Power Rack, is widely considered one of the most buy once and durable type racks, as long as you maintain it, it should last decades.

Which power rack will last forever?
Power racks fail because the steel is sloppy or the cable hardware is junk, not because the marketing copy forgot to say "premium". If the uprights aren’t real 3x3 with an honest 11 gauge wall, the whole thing starts twisting once you hang a bunch of attachments off it. A lot of brands quietly drift thinner to save a few bucks. You feel it later. Weld quality matters more than whatever fancy name they slap on the rack. Full penetration welds with clean edges last. Spatter and blob welds are what you see on bargain cages that wobble by year three. For cables, you want machined aluminum pulleys with sealed bearings. Plastic pulleys or sleeve bearings get noisy fast and eventually seize. And if the cable isn’t 7x19 aircraft wire with a proper PVC sheath, it’s going to fray long before the frame gives out. Hardware is the other weak spot. Real 5/8 inch through bolts with decent corrosion protection keep everything tight as you bolt on more modules. Cheap zinc junk stretches or flakes. Between the two you listed, both check most of the important boxes, but the PR5000 usually has tighter tolerances on the accessories. Less play, fewer alignment headaches. Ignore anything advertised as having a smooth feel. That’s usually code for soft pulleys that wear into an oval and start dragging. If you want something that actually lasts, just focus on steel thickness, welds, pulleys, and cables. Everything else is decoration.

Lifting bench, rack and barbell plate weights?
I really like my rep fitness kit. I got a bench, squat rack and bar bell set from them with Olympic weights. It's held up nicely and a bit cheaper than other Olympic sets.

What did you wish you had at 21?
Something like [these](https://repfitness.com/products/1-25-wood-gymnastic-rings?variant=41067589304478&country=US¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&srsltid=AfmBOorEJZ-CK1i5CONgrFUNEwnUmmhh_DNOZtQg6RyMc3EfNbOQ8OHweR0&gPromoCode=20255koff5&gQT=1) It’s definitely more difficult to get started on compared to dumbbells and doesn’t scale as easily. It’s hard to beat the versatility for the price and weight though. Both/all tools are great but if I was 21 again I’d want to have a solid foundation in calisthenics and ring training

$350 for 90lb USA Powerblocks
the choices for adjustable dumbbells really increased over the past few years. Anyone really into working out should check out a review site like Garage Gym Reviews. A good site will explain the differences between old designs like this and what they are reviewing and compare it to the best choices on the market. Coop from GGR seems to like Rep x Peppin and QuickDraw as overall best and best budget, both from Rep Fitness
