What’s a purchase that’s not fun, not flashy but now you swear by it?
Aight so I technically didn’t buy it, my mom did back in the 90s, but Revere Ware stainless steel pots and pans. Like they’re completely stainless all around, including the handles and have copper in the bottoms. She used them before I was born and then passed them onto me like 30 years later. I did buy a giant Revere Ware stock pot that I found and use it for soups and whatever else. I’m taking all of it with me to my grave (partially joking)

Revere Ware Skillets - Is this one a good find?
The copper bottomed Revere Ware pans are satisfactory but the amount of copper on them is 0.5mm. The aluminum disk base is at least 3-4mm thick which would provide much more even heating and less likely to warp.

Revere Ware Skillets - Is this one a good find?
It’s better that just a single ply but only having multi-ply on the bottom makes it a bit of a pain for eggs in my experience, as the temperature differences makes eggs stick to the edges but not the center. Also all of my revereware is not induction capable. They tend to come out of the dishwasher without any stains which is a plus. It’s prob better than anything you can get at that price new.

Revere Ware Skillets - Is this one a good find?
Oh i found a lid in a nearby shelf that fit perfectly on it. $12 for the whole thing! Just got home and gave it a good scrub - this thing shines now

Revere Ware Skillets - Is this one a good find?
That is one of their cheaper lines with an aluminum disk on the bottom. If you are buying Revereware, the copper bottom ones are the ones you want.

What is the best modern day equivalent of Revereware pots?
true but you can still buy replacement screws that are made for revere ware, or do what I do at garage sales or thrift stores I get pre 1968 (though I have alot from my mom) but I also buy the after 1968 to strip for parts to use to restore the good ones.
