My belt got rubbed off after a short backpacking trip. What belt do you have that lasts?
Currently got one each of both black and brown RM Williams belts that are about 8 years old. Both are holding up very well. Condition and polish the leather 3 or 4 times a year but no other special care. I wear one of the two belts every day. Typically the black one 4 days a week at work and the brown one weekends and “casual Friday”.

While not for life, 8 years of daily wear is pretty good for boots
