What is your most unintentional BIFL item?
Bought a Roland KV-17x drum set and I've been pounding on it for years now aside from a drumstick replacement. I have no doubts this thing will out last my ability to actually play it.

What brands do you trust to always deliver a high quality product?
In electronic drums, Yamaha is beaten out only by Roland, and IMHO simply because the Yamaha kits are not as easily upgradeable and a little less value for manner than Roland. They're supposed to still be fantastic quality. If you were not getting Roland or a budget brand, you were probably going Yamaha.
