Royal Canadian Winter Boots
So far my Jaspers are good in the cold. We just started getting cold weather here (-20ish with winds) and my feet were warm 30 mins walking the dog last night. I have room in my boots to wear thicker socks, which I was wearing. I plan to wear these when I walk to work next week and see how they hold up.

I received my black Jaspers and before wearing I sprayed them twice with just the Moneysworth and Best brand shoe protectant that is widely available such as Walmart etc. Don’t need to be as careful with application with black shoes but if you sprayed lightly from a distance it should be fine I imagine. I’d make sure the nozzle is clear so you don’t have a big drop that falls on your lighter coloured boots.

BIFL *women's* winter boots, waterproof, arch support, please
I ordered some ice bugs since they have studded soles and I’m tired of slipping on the ice in MN. I found they ran a little big and are a wider toe box so I can swap in an orthotic if I need it. Baffin and Santana run real small, I can’t even squeeze into an 11 and I wear a women’s 10.5. Keens are ok. I have Royal Canadian for subzero days and danner boots that are warm with some arch support. Sorels seem so cheaply made now. I’ve been looking for wool insulated boots as they breathe better and I dislike the faux shearling inner.
