What's the best cookware you've ever had?
A few brands that will never steer you wrong: All Clad, Demeyere, Hestan, Mauviel 1830, Ruffoni, Staub, Le Creuset, and Lodge. My tip: buy individual pieces as needed. A cookware set can include a few things you rarely or never use. A good fry/sauté pan, a ~2 liter saucepan, and a stock pot are a very good start. Plus lids.

Tin-lined copper pans are a third practical BIFL replacement for nonstick coatings besides cast iron and carbon steel. They're also not always as expensive as people think, and often cheaper in the long run than nonstick
Interesting, did not know about the switch. Thanks for the heads up!

They're assuming you use abrasives to clean it and scrub the tarnish off the tin, which is conventional in Indian homes because retinning is cheap there. If you check their videos on YouTube, their tin linings show consistent wipe marks throughout indicating they're comparable in thickness to Mauviel or Ruffoni, which are known to last 20 years in western households where modern users stick to nonscratch cleaning and allow the tin to tarnish.

Looking for good quality wooden kitchen utensils.
Look for Italian Olivewood utensils - Ruffoni US are excellent or Quince has a cheaper option.
