Water bottle that keeps water cold?
S'well has been out for a decade or more and is triple wall, makes a huge difference esp in their larger bottles keeps ice for literally 15-20 hours longer than a double wall

I love my S’well. It keeps water so cold & refreshing and I love the way the lip feels for drinking. It’s just my perfect water bottle.

With a new style of water bottle popping up every year, Which one have you stuck with?
I have had three water bottles since 2014. First was a Camelbak with my Unis logo on it. Got rid of it because I like cold water and the Camelbak is single walled plastic (and the drinking bit broke, which I didn't know I could get a replacement for until later on). I was loyal to my S'well bottle from 2017 to 2023. I never found a bottle I preferred more than that one, especially once they released the sport cap (pop top vs twist off) and the handle for it. Then Owala walked in. The ONLY thing that could make me give up my current Owala is an Owala with a stainless steel lid. But I would just buy a replacement lid for my current bottle.

I got my first S’Well stainless steel flask in a Yankee swap a decade ago and almost immediately bought a second one for my office since I liked it so much. I have been using them ever since. Durable, simple, no frills and easy to clean. I also love that they fit in car and bike cupholders designed for disposable water bottle form factors.

The Takeya 17oz Traveler Leakproof Coffee Mug is the one I grab most often. (IMO it's a water bottle, NOT a coffee mug.) I know they're unpopular because the carry ring breaks easily, which makes the lid unusable, but I never use the ring so it doesn't matter for me. It's an comfortable size to carry around and the flip lid with pour spout is the easiest to drink from while driving. I have Nalgene, Hydroflask, S'well and some no-name brand, but the Takeya is the one I use 90% of the time.

I analyzed 80+ Reddit threads to find the best water bottles
I have a Swell bottle. My step brother got my household each their own bottle for Christmas one year with all our initials. It works well keeping my water cold for days but the paint is getting scraped off onto the side of the cupholder in my car.

Non-plastic water bottle that can be easily cleaned in dishwasher?
The wide mouth S'well bottles are pretty good for this. As a bonus, they fit precisely in my fridge's water dispenser and their opening is big enough to accommodate ice cubes. I also like the grip paint.

Water bottle recommendations?
I'm going to vote for this one too! I just purchased a thermo flask to replace a S'well bottle that was dented at the bottom from too many falls down LA canyons. What I love: A large opening that easily fits ice cubes. Flat bottom! That was my issue with the S'well. Once the bottom dents, it wobbles forever. I can use a bottle brush to clean. Generally I don't use the dishwasher to clean the bottles. Just soap and water, and occasionally a denture tab to disinfect. Sippy/straw lids gross me out so mine is just a regular bottle opening. What it lacks: It does not keep the water as cold as my S'well .. it's good enough but not quite as insulated.

BIFL request: A thermos that actually keeps tea hot for hours
Idk if they make bigger sizes, but I’ve burned my tongue at 2pm on tea I poured into my s’well bottle at 7am. Had to start bringing a separate mug to pour it into so it would actually be drinkable.

What is the Best Insulated Water Bottle for keeping liquids cold?
I have a S'well that keeps drinks ridiculously cold, to the point my wife won't use it because she wants the drink to warm up a bit over time.

coffee travel mug - should i go with takeya (25/17oz) or zojirushi (20oz)?
I vote against over engineered lids that are harder to clean and eventually break. I have really liked my s'well bottle which I've had for years, but can't speak to whether it is really bifl.

I love ceramic bento boxes personally! They have silicone covers. The one I use is Ohayo Bento Box by SWANZ

Water bottle that looks like...a water bottle.
I have a [S'well bottle] (http://www.swellbottle.com) and it's fantastic. Really sturdy and doesn't have any sort of flavor to it.
