Sperry Gold Cup Orleans Lite Leather or Gold Cup Full Grain Leather?
Check out Sebago. I’ve had great experience with the quality and comfort. They’re also a bit cheaper and available in the Philippines.

I re-dyed and replaced the laces for my 6 year old top siders. Very pleased with the result
IME, the thing that kills Topsiders is that the soles eventually become hard and slick. The razor-sipes don't work at that point, so they effectively become "slippers" in the most literal (and dangerous) sense. I've found Sebagos to be far closer to BIFL; however, I can no longer buy them because they stopped making my size (and wide widths in general).

Camp moc / boat shoe recomondations?
[Easy Moc](https://easymocs.com/collections/mens?srsltid=AfmBOooi4cppTC4g-ZqPUFm06cXq9L_CSBgMCI219Q4QiE8lueLsyiJp) [Quoddy](https://www.quoddy.com) [Sebago](https://sebago-usa.com/collections/mens-boat-shoes?srsltid=AfmBOooaiV_4dA9bd3r1kEV-2UubhR—eAonPUbzIkkhwOGJ2sslPrib) [Oak Street](https://oakstreetbootmakers.com/footwear/moccasins?srsltid=AfmBOopiHMo9mpwZ_avR6LeOyQIeUBQVOfjYtdKkfZp328lBgQZnL6rS) I did a bit of a deep dive a while back to find the best camp mocs for the money and ultimately ended up getting a pair of Rancourt Chromexcel’s for a deal on eBay. I am very happy with the quality. That said, the Easymoc and Oakstreet Bootmakers versions are particularly nice and resoleable as well. Definitely size down as they will stretch to conform to your feet. Cheers.

Unpopular Opinion: "BIFL" as an excuse for overspending
Last 4 months, I rewaxed my 30 years old Barbour that used to be my dad's, changed temples on my Oliver Peoples prescription glasses I have had since 2018 and changed lenses on my Persol sunglasses I have had since 2017. I have shoe trees for my Sebago boat shoes that I purchased in 2021. Despite wearing them at least 6 months a year, they still look new, no doubt thanks to the frequent conditioning and changing laces when they break. If done well, BIFL is the opposite of consumerism.
