Looking for a wallet
Came here to say this. I have a secrid wallet w/o the leather case. Stupid simple construction that just reliably does the job. Just happened to buy it when I needed a wallet and it's lasted longer than any others I've had. I think it's about 12 years now with no signs of meaningful decay, apart from paint fading. Downside is that it holds strictly 5 cards. I find this perfect and I'm sure there are other options.

I beat my wallets and they rarely last. I’ve had a secrid leather wallet for like 5-6 years and the lever gets flicked like at least 3-4 times a day. It’s going strong with no wear at all. It’s slim enough and can hold a few bills as well which is handy.

Request: Ridge wallet vs secrid wallets plus suggestions
I use a Secrid I got in 2018 and it still works great - no problems with the mechanism, and I've definitely played with it a bunch to fidget. Can't advise you on other brands because I haven't had the need to try them out, the wallet I had before the Secrid was some cheapo one that basically disintegrated after a couple years haha

I have had my Secrid and its leather wrap for almost 10 years. You don’t exactly NEED to replace the leather if your use has kept it in good shape. It’s not like you’re guaranteed to spend $40 every 5 years.

you're definitely in the right ballpark with secrid and open sea, they’re both solid, but they tend to fall short when it comes to flexibility. The card slots are usually tight, and most of them either lack proper cash storage or end up feeling bulky once you try to fit anything more than cards. I'd point you toward some of the newer hybrids ([like gemonklee](https://onlinehairguide.com/dp-B0CGZJ2DKWCA) maybe), these have that pop-up card case and integrate an airtag slot. They're probably the better-suited option here because you’ll have space for your core cards + a bit of cash with an elastic strap and a separate window for your ID.

Secrid wallets are fabulous. I got one on a trip to Copenhagen years and years ago. Still good as new. They have a great feature where you pull a trigger and all the cards pop up for you to pluck easily. It’s like a magic trick. Might not be for everybody but I’ll stick with these (if I ever need to replace).

Secrid Cardprotector
I love my Secrid wallet, but I have managed to dent mine doing a buttslide into a bunker while playing paintball at a local park, lol. So they're not entirely indestructible. But they're my favorite wallets and heartily recommend them. I don't know why I don't see more people getting them.
