  $1k is entry level for most mechanical watches. Around $2k is I think the max value range and the low end luxury. Above that is into the luxury bracket and prices go sky high in that category. If you like utility watches, Hamilton is a decent brand. Their have a lot of field watches that are nice. The "Murph" is very popular with Redditors and dresses up well. They have a lot of watches in your range. The metal bands are okay. The Khaki King was the first watch I bought and I still wear it daily. Seiko has a lot of good value watches. They have interesting dials. They have dive watches and dress watches. The dive watches probably won't work with a suite. You can get away with a dive watch and suit with higher end watches. Seiko also has a lot of watches in your range and is also very popular on Reddit. Longines are really nice, but are out of your price range. They have a lot of features you typically only see in higher end luxury watches, like micro-adjustments on the watch band. They are in the 2k range. Oris is also nice, but out of your price range. The pointer date watches are popular. I really like Nomos Glashutte. They are a German brand and have a very simple, elegant look to them. They are also a bit outside your range. I have one of their Orion watches. Citizen is on the cheaper side. I have one of their solar watches. Simple look and good value, but not as distinctive as other brands. All of these are cheaper on the grey market. Make sure you try on a bunch and see them in person. It can be hard to get a sense of the size and fit online. You can also sometimes get good deals on chrono24, but there is some risk with that site.

  Definitely check out the Seiko 5 or Citizen Eco-Drive. Both have that hybrid look, are durable, and low-maintenance (solar-powered for the Citizen!). The Hamilton Khaki Field is a great step up if you want something a bit more refined but still affordable. All are comfortable, water-resistant, and fit well on smaller wrists!

  Style and budget are required to make a recommendation. It sounds like you want a quartz but you mention Rolex and Omega which are mechanical.  Even with quartz there is a very wide range in style and cost. Mechanical watches have a very wide range in cost also. You can get a good mechanical for $600-$1200. Watch bands are not BIFL. Even metal bands will eventually get loose and need to be replaced. Metal bands do last MUCH longer than other materials, but not forever. Seiko, Hamilton, and Mido are all cheaper mechanical watches and great quality. As far as style, a lot of watches work in casual and more formal wear. Big dive watches and loud quartz might not work with classier outfits. You can dress down dress watches. You don't need a dive watch for water resistance. What you want to spend really matters because you get different levels or quality and features at different price points.  IMO, Longines is probably the best bang for the buck if you have the money. I would also consider asking on /r/watches.

  Seikos (and I'll add orient in there as well) are great watches. The only thing about them is that they are mechanical so they need a little maintenance every five years or so (costs about $160 for the entry level watches. The other thing with mechanicals is they are not accurate. And they need to be wound frequently. So you're probably gonna wind up setting the time every couple of days. With that said I'm totally hooked on mechanicals, but they are far from low maintenance and can be a pain in the ass

  Well good thing that Eco Drive watches charge from any type of light source then. Sure eventually the battery will need a replacement but I'm willing to bet its going to last longer then the main spring in that Rolex Not going to link anything but you can find early 70s quartz Seikos in perfect working conditions for fairly cheap, even 80s digital Casios are still running just fine

  I just made a watch from AliExpress. I got a Seiko movement an nh35 and made sure to buy a case, dial and hands that fit the movement. If you're after a fun little project, it's nice to build over an hour or so. I spent £80 building a mechanical watch that would have cost me £800 from Hamilton (lovely bronze case) Either that or buy Swatch. Buy a few, swap as necessary. I have friends who've kept theirs for 30+ years.

  Yes the style of the watch - with changable bezels is what I really liked! I dont care for a brand name, just changing bezels and metal band that wont chip/crack by the second wear haha I am actually looking at Seikos rignt now since a lot of people mentioned that brand, im trying to find a similar style! I am very okay with the ticking sounds, Another comment explained that the type im looking for is classified as "mechanical" :)

  The watch subs, the main one and the brand related ones can be super helpful. Quartz, analog with a battery, are very accurate for the price. Digital are obviously battery. Mechanical have to be wound, usually every day or two. Automatic are self winding mechanical watches that wind while walking/moving. Mechanical and automatic aren’t as accurate as quartz, unless you pay for a high end one. There’s also solar and other funky battery options. Quartz have the classic ticking sound while mechanical are quiet. Quartz are also more robust, but they require batteries. In theory a mechanical watch can run indefinitely if it’s always wound/worn. If you want digital and cheap, then Gshock Decent quality and price, then seiko, citizen for both mechanical and quartz. There’s also all different tiers of luxury brands. From a few $100 to $100k. There’s also styles, I prefer divers as they’re more water resistant than most other styles. Personally I wear an Omega Seamaster Pro, and I have a Gshock for work as I am a mechanic, but I may change that to a mechanical diver soon.

  Without a budget nobody can help you. I recently went watch shopping for the first time ever and it was interesting. Timex and citizen stood out as “lower cost” watches that actually look really really good. I use quotation marks as they are cheap in the watch world, but being 5x’s more expensive than a basic Casio is crazy money. Depends what angle you are coming from. Check out swatch if you like crazy colours, maybe grabs a couple depending on your budget. Seiko is king though, the internals are used in a large amount of other brands too, can’t go wrong with quartz in terms of BIFL. Quartz watches are generally

  This looks like the bezel is interchangeable and I am not sure what is the quality of those bezels, atleast does'nt look great and this watch certainly does not look BIFL. Good rule of thumb while buying BIFL watches is stick to the legacy brands like Roles, Omega, Breitling, Mido, Seiko depending upon your budget and to name a few. Usually DW, Gucci, Hugo Boss watches offer only looks and a short time lifetime as their build quality is not great and they are quartz watches. SO they are definitely not value for money you pay for their brand names. Maybe if you want some bright coloured dials in you watches maybe the new line of Oris big crown is worth giving a look.

  Yeah - I thought that might happen to me. I waited 2 years to buy my first expensive watch, and in the meantime I bought the Seiko referenced above, just to see if the interest was going to “stick”. The nice thing about Rolex is that if you decide you aren’t interested anymore, you can sell for roughly no loss (some a bit of loss, some a bit of gain).

  Need BIFL Recommendations as a Graduation Present!

  Stationary band saw is the answer, but if you go this route. When I went into my undergrad I was gifted a stingray skin leather wallet which I’m still using daily over a decade ago and a Seiko wrist watch that I love. When I graduated I got a hand made fountain pen from Nakaya company in japan. I picked the pen body, lacquer colors, they have in house nibmisters who shaped the tipping to fit my writing and wants. It’s a bit over budget but I sent them my hand written initials and they inlaid them in gold on the cap. It’s an amazing pen that I will cherish for the rest of my life and will outlive me without a doubt.

  Most Durable Everyday Watch in 2025?

  Most mechanical watches can be rebuilt, now will that cost be worth it? I have an Orient mechanical, it works okay, but needs cleaned, which probably will cost $100 or more. But my vote goes with a mid lined mechanical watch. I'd get a Seiko automatic if I wanted a nice BIFL watch. Around the $400 price range

  I’ve started caring less about new and more about enough

  My old Seiko watch has been with me for almost a decade now. It’s not the most expensive thing I own, but it might be the one that means the most. I’ve worn it through every trip, every job change, every tough moment and small victory. The metal has small scratches now, and the strap isn’t as shiny as before — but somehow that makes it even more mine. Every mark reminds me of something I did, somewhere I went. It’s weird how time makes some things lose value, while others gain soul. This watch definitely did.

  The standard, but not very but if for life, approach with a modern Seiko 5 is to put in a new movement as it’s cheaper to buy that and swap the dial, date disc and hands than it is to disassemble the old one and clean, oil, and reassemble it. At 10 years old I’d guess it’s a 7S26. They aren’t being made any more but there are other movements you can swap in that are usually an upgrade. If you’re in the UK and looking for service options, send me a message and I can point you in the right direction. All that said, if it’s running fine, don’t bother. The general rule with these is that you service when the timekeeping degrades. Not on some invented interval. I have Seiko 5s from the 60s and 70s that are working just fine and I haven’t serviced them at all.

  I've only sent watches off to be serviced. At the price point of a Seiko 5, you might be better to buy the gear and service the watch yourself. One of the great things about Seiko is that their parts are easily found on the internet as Seiko is the watch modder's brand of choice.

  If you care, give the watch a service. It'll run smoother and keep time more accurately. Even the expensive luxury watches advise a service interval of up to 10 years for a coaxial movement, which the Seiko does not have. A Seiko 5 probably has a recommended service interval of about 5 years.

  Doesn't need to be a Rolex even. I've had my grandfather's Seiko 5 restored, it's running +20spd, he bought it in 90's probably. Getting a watch with even entry Swiss made movements will last you a lifetime if you take care of it.

  Marathon watches - Are They BIFL?

  understand that tritium has a half life so that amazing lume will fade over time. So while I still have my old Marathon GSAR, it's already received a new face and hands (it's about 15 years old.) My Seiko SKX009, purchased not long after, still has great lume as it does not rely on tritium decay. It's not as good as the GSAR, but also has required zero intervention. the one service it's received was under $200 from Seiko USA (almost as much as I spent on the watch but apparently they're collectible now?)

  With a cheap quartz, sure. But there are nicer quartz watches too you know. I really enjoy mechanical watches, but there is no rational reason to one. A well made quartz watch from brands like Seiko, Certina etc. will last just as long as a fancy mechanical, while costing 1/10th (or less) to purchase and maintain.

  Looking for best budget analog watch $100 or under

  For a specific watch I would say Timex Weekender for $20-40 on sale. Has a lightly audible tick noise that drives some people crazy, but I think it might soften over time (I never notice mine). Buy it with the brown leather passthrough strap and get a black leather quick attachment strap and you have a versatile watch for less than $60 that'll last indefinitely if you treat it gently. I've had one for ten years as a daily beater and it still has no noticable scratches and looks brand new besides the original strap needing to be replaced finally.    Timex, Citizen, and Seiko are gonna be your go-to's, or an Orient Bambino if you can increase your budget a little. Used is also an option... I gambled on a stainless steel gold colored Nixon Sentry in great condition for $35 at the Rose Bowl flea market. Popped a new battery in and to my surprise it actually worked. Still one of my best thrift scores ever.

  Mechanical watches are durable only within a specific range. If you're rough on watches, expect not only more frequent servicings, but repairs. If you absolutely have to have a mechanical, go for a Seiko 5 automatic. No features like hacking or winding, but it's durable and cheap, but if you want mechanical, I'd simply go for a quartz-analog watch and then just take a pick. I had a Victorinox years ago I gave my dad and it was insanely durable and he threw it all over the place.

  A Seiko 200m solar dive watch. Mine is titanium, making it a bit lighter and resistant to corrosion. Super tough and accurate, and it runs for months on an hour or two of sunshine. Not sure what they cost these days, but it will be a lot less than prestige brands like Omega or Breitling - you are paying for functionality, not jewelry.

  Eco what most others say here. I would add that the jump in quality from $300 to $1,000 is quite substantial. Above $5,000 there isn’t much of a jump in build quality (more finishing, complications, branding, etc). But at the bottom end of mechanical watches you can definitely find the quality disparity.   I’m a firm believer in the tool watch… just what you are looking for. I have three in this realm. Seiko SKX007 classic dive watch in the $300 range. Lots of band options out there. Marathon GSAR. Rock solid automatic dive watch with tritum hands in the $900 range. Omega Seamaster 300 Peter Blake 2254.50. Out of production but a beautiful dive watch in the $2k-3k range. I have worn all three in my 23 years in the Army, both state side and in combat. They are solid tool watches checking all your boxes. Luck.

  Wristwatches, in general. I’m not wholly loyal to any one particular brand, but with any watch I’ve made a conscious decision to buy, it’s never let me down. Brands include: Casio, Seiko, Oris, Rado, Mido, Timex, Vostok, Tudor, Rolex, Jaeger leCoultre, even a microbrand called Zelos. The other things I will happily splurge on are well-made raw denim jeans, leather jackets, waxed jackets like a Barbour, shoes (especially Chelsea and heritage work-styled boots eg. RM Williams, Yuketen).

  Gentle alarm clock without a subscription

  I was on the same quest earlier this year, two options— Lemnos (made in Japan) and Seiko (unfortunately their alarm clocks are made in China now, but it’s still the same clocks they’ve been manufacturing all these decades).   A good watch. Not a fashion brand one but one from a known watch brand like a topshelf timex or casio, Seiko, Citizen. It does not need to be a luxury watch. All of them will probably outlive you. Just change the battery every few years or let them be serviced if they are an automatic. Recently changed back from my Apple Watch and its amazing to not have to charge my watch and look for a new one cause the battery and software gets old.

  The fact that it’s more economical to just buy a new one doesn’t bring down the quality Seiko has. They’re still really good watches. Moreso that it is a diminishing market therefore watch repair shops need to charge a bit more to stay afloat. Basic servicing is just expensive now as you can’t get it everywhere

  For a nice watch that will last, I recommend Seiko. They have a lot of great options for men and women and are not too expensive either. But what you should really know before buying any watch is whether you'd like a quartz (battery powered) or a mechanical watch, that will make a significant difference.

  Christopher Ward will probably be my next watch purchase, they seem like insane value proposals (well, as insane value as a completely unnecessary $1000 watch can be). The nice thing about this price point though is that basically every watch you look at is using the same movement (or a variation) so you really can more or less let asthetic drive your choice. You won't go wrong with an oris, cw, rado, Hamilton, Seiko, longines, farer, etc. in this price range.

  Seiko Speedtimer has a quartz model. Only a few hundred bucks and is guaranteed to last your lifetime. Or spend a few more bucks and get an automatic movement and you won’t even have to worry about the battery

  Casio G Shocks are durable and reliable; automatic watches tend to be more finicky until you get into the higher end ones. As someone who works in watches the top comments all being seiko is mildly infuriating; seikos are phenomenal budget watches but most are not remotely BIFL without needing to be regularly serviced and have parts replaced from time to time. If you want something in that price range that you can set and forget I think that casio (especially the g shock line) is probably your best bet. I have an old casio in my watch box that I keep around for sentimental reasons and even years later it is still keeping the correct time within 1-2 seconds.

  In that price range, check out whether you like a Seiko! (Orient, Citizen too.) Automatic is nice though... Yeah, you may have to vring it to service in a few years and they are not as exact, but it just feels good to have something that doesn't need electicity.

  Certainly depends on your price range, but you'll never go wrong with a Citizen or Seiko! I'd definitely stay away from "fashion" brands (Fossil, Michael Kors, Movado etc.) but for the most part, anything Swiss made or Japanese will serve you well.

  You may need to narrow down a price range. A Rolex Datejust is definitely BIFL (they become heirlooms for a reason), but I suspect you aren't looking to spend that kind of money. Seiko, Orient, and Citizen all make respectable automatic watches well below $1000. The issue with mechanical/automatic watches is that they need to be serviced eventually, even if it is 5-10 years down the road, and cheaper automatic watches like this aren't really worth servicing, as the service costs more than the watch. A Citizen Eco-drive is also a nice alternative.

  Uniqlo basic tees and their selvage jeans are good everything else is sub par quality. Muji has better quality shirts. Charhartt wip are pricey but worth it. Work boots. If you can afford redwings those are amazing. If you cant, wolverines are good intro boots. Ive had a pair for 10 years and counting ive only had them repaired once. Watch I chose a seiko automatic not too expensive but reliable easy to maintain and relatively stylish. As someone that walks as a main mode of transportation there are NO BIFL sneakers/shoes so buy whatevers comfortable and just trust that youll need to replace them after a year (or 2 max) and since everyones foot is different youll need to find a shoe that you have tried before buying. Rain coat columbia is the best IMO. North face is literally the heaviest out of the rest. Patagonia is OK but theres something about it im not comfortable with. Backpack. Waxed canvas. Just remember to check the wax on it regularly. No specific brand in mind its more of the upkeep I have literally 20+ different insulated tumblers ive only used 2 on a daily basis. One is a standard 22oz silver one with no paint coating. Its all beat up but it has character and since it doesnt have paint my ocd doesnt get triggered. The second one is an old hydroflask back when they were just starting and not a money grab company they are now. Its an open top cap one for coffee. Lunch box, zojirushi lunch jar. Yes this is pricy but as someone who is well in his 30s and brings lunch to work this is awesome cause it keeps food hot for 8hrs (warm till 12hrs) ive had mine since college. This thing is pretty indestructible im pretty sure it would out live me. Also since im also part asian zojirushi rice cookers are built to be handed down generationally. Right now im out of what else to recommend but let me know if youre looking for a specific item ill let you know my thoughts on it. Yeah other people would recommend the best most expensive but on an actual practical level im a pretty safe bet to ask.

  My biggest item, a $7,000 Grand Seiko watch. I chose it off good personal sentiment relating to my wife’s favorite color, my grandfather and father’s favorite brand (Seiko) and my state of Alaska. It’s a sky blue glacier frost color (Hi-Beat 36000 SBGH295) My idea, as I inherited my father’s watches, is that this watch is being passed down to my future son and he can be reminded of my grandfather, father, his mother, and me with the experiences I put into this watch. If I get a second son, I’ll have to get another one to put some experiences into haha.

  Durable Watch for hands on work

  A couple other things to consider based on your post and comments: Safety: If you're doing electrical work always remove any jewelry. It's a potential grounding source for electricity. If you're working around DC current it gets even more dangerous as you may end up stuck to whatever you touched. If you frequently do electric work you'll end up having to take it off more than you have it on so at that point I would just avoid wearing one. Crystal: Acrylic scratches very easily, mineral scratches lightly less, sapphire is considered the highest quality and is the most scratch resistant. It's what your Rolex most likely has. The shape can also be important. Flat is less likely to catch on anything but domed is stronger. Coatings: PVD coating, no matter how durable, will eventually scratch. You cannot buff it out as it's a coating. Finish: If you're going for something like stainless or metal, try to avoid polished finishes. Scratches will show up more on them. Material: Stainless steel and Titanium are extremely durable. Bronze, if you like it, ages beautifully based on environmental factors. Any dings or scratches add to that charm I've found from personal experience. Note that sometimes if bronze is in direct contact with the skin it can possibly leave a slight green tinge on your skin. Straps: Get a NATO strap or something similar that is a single piece of fabric. If one of the lugs on your watch fails the other will hold the watch in place, that way the watch won't fall off your wrist. As an added bonus a bronze watch won't lay in constant contact with your skin so any oxidation won't rub off on your skin. Water resistance: The water resistance ratings are a bit of a misnomer. Really water resistance is the measure of pressure that can be exerted on a watch before something fails. Even though most people don't swim to a depth of 5 meters, a watch with a 5 meter water resistance rating will likely fail if you jump into a pool due to a sudden increase in pressure. 50 meters of resistance is what's generally required for light swimming (residential pools, not diving) and even showering. Movement: As a watch guy I love mechanical watches but you mentioned that there's a lot of vibrations in your line of work. I'd suggest getting something quartz or digital. Constant vibrations will absolutely cause the watch to lose or gain time faster than it should. Quartz will keep better time than even the most accurate of mechanical watches. Style: If you're looking for something with no frills, odds are you'll be looking into field watches. Pilot's watches can be a nice alternative as well since they're often highly legible. Dive watches are often bigger but if you can find one in a smaller size it'll prove to be highly durable with the added benefit of a rotating bezel if you ever need to keep track of time. Dial Color: At a glance, a black dial with white numerals is going to be the most legible, more so than a white dial with black numerals. In World War 2 it became the standard for A-11 field watches. I've personally found white watches to be harder to read if there's sun glare but that's just me. Brands: I'd check into Hamilton, Bertucci, Timex, Citizen, Seiko and Marathon.   Do you think BIFL is actually cost effective?

  For me, it comes down warranty and reputation of the company. Areas I have invested in: \- F&T Wax trucker jacket - last you a life time and then some. \- Kanto speaker system for computer. I switched out already 3 cheapy speakers within 5 years. I know this one will last me as long as I can take care of them. \- Computer desk from Flexispot this thing wont collapse on itself. (I have seen desks do that) \- Bombas underwear/socks - I wouldnt call them BIFL but buy them to be comfortable for X amount of years. Sure I can buy 300 shitty socks and underwear that would last me my life time. Knowing every day my ass and feet will be uncomfortable is not something I am okay with. The underwear is pretty good and creates a nice visual presentation. The socks no comparing to any other socks. \- Travel pro carry on suit case - I travel alot and having a suit case where it can hold 10-15lb backpack on top without tipping over is a major plus for me. \- Seiko or Orient watches or traditional watches in general - I personally think every man needs an actual watch. Smart watches are cool I own one. They are obsolete within a few years and materials are subpar for price. You pair a nice watch with your outfit I guarantee people will notice. In addition, watches are miniature art pieces. Coop sleep pillow - Best pillow I ever owned and since I have to sleep every night it is a no brainer. Overall, I dont think everything is BIFL I think somethings should be buy because its good quality and comfortable. Sure I can spam buy socks, pillows, or buy the subpar suit case. At the end of the day those things will still work. I tell you this my feet are comfortable. My sleep is set up for maximum quality. My travel journeys wont be as frustrating knowing whether my suitcase will get checked or fall flat forward when you have to take a shit at the airport.

  The thing with watches is that the more you spend, the more you'll be required to pay to have it serviced if you want it too last. I recommend looking for something with a tried and true, inexpensive, workhorse movement. Think Seiko NH35, NH 34 GMT, Miyota 9000 series, and the movement Orient uses in its dive watches (YN55?). Some brands to consider are San Martin, Seiko, and Orient, off the top of my head. There are a number of Chinese brands that mostly copy (but not counterfeit) famous, expensive Swiss watches such as Rolex and Omega, that are very good. If you want to spend more for an "original" design, there are many microbrand out there such as Nodus and Lorier. You are going to be getting the same movements that can be inexpensive to replace in all of these watches. If you move up to watches with Swiss movements, entry level look for ETA 2894 or Selita SW200. These movements are more costly to replace, but less expensive to get serviced than a luxury watch. You can find these in some Chinese brands, higher end microbrands, and Swiss brands such as Hamilton and Tissot. If you would like a specific recommendation for a watch, there is a lot of information you would need to provide: wrist size, your preference for case size, type of watch, dial color, strap vs. bracelet etc.

  You can find decent manual or automatic watches anywhere from $100 to over $100,000. You want something as cheap as possible but still meets your prompt? Citizen, Seiko, or Orient are your options. You want the high end stuff? Vacheron Constantin, Patek Philippe, FP Journe, A Lange, etc. and there are hundreds/thousands of options in between. Specify the look you want and the budget and we can narrow it down significantly

  Seiko 5 series are great budget friendly automatic watches. Very durable and they're from a well renowned brand that don't overcharge for time pieces. If you want to spend a little more then their SARB series are very classy but I'm not sure they're making them anymore.

  Definitely going to need a budget, because I doubt you really mean “any” If it is any, go Rolex, if you want new and now go Tudor/Omega. If it is limited, for 300 usd you can get great seiko automatics which will be serviceable their whole life. If you want more accuracy, get something Swiss with an eta 2824 (around 1000usd)

  Going to be highly subjective as everyone has their own preferences in what they want out of a watch, so do your own research, but out of my collection Under $100 - BIFL choices would be Casio, G-Shock, Timex. You aren't going to find a good repairable automatic movement for this price new, maybe used. I love my swatches, really cute designs, but not built to be repairable. Under $1k - Pretty wide price range, at the low end you can get a good g-shock, citizen eco-drive, for automatics look at hamilton, tissot, seiko. A seiko 5 is the gold standard for inexpensive, durable, entry level, automatic watch. if you had to buy one watch today to start your watch journey, that and a 20$ casio would be my recommendation. Under $10k its almost entirely preference. You can get a good Rolex Submariner or Datejust for around that price, I'm personally partial to grand seiko, you can find a SBGW231 for 3-4k. Lots of options from pretty much everyone there, omega has the 57 chromosomes, brietling/iwc both make great stuff, cartier santos, glashütte but if you're looking for a one-and-done purchase as a somewhat non-enthusiast, just find a rolex you really like, make sure the movement is in good maintenance, and enjoy. There is a reason they are as esteemed as they are.

  Casio G-Shock basic. Been wearing "it" since 2011. I've upgraded it three times, but you'd never be able to tell (they look identical). The first upgrade was for radio (atomic) time so it'd _always_ be exact, and the second upgrade was just because * DW5600E-1V --> $45, replace the battery every several years * GWM5610-1 --> 105$, solar (will still need a battery at some point, they degrade) and has perfect radio (atomic) time * GW5000-U --> $250 Japanese made version of the above with a screwback and a glass crystal For a mechanical (analog) watch, look for a swiss or japanese movement, and a sapphire crystal (crazy scratch-resistant). Hamilton / Seiko are good intros

  low are going to be something like timex or casio. Weekender or g-shock models in particular. Mid is going to be something like seiko, citizen, bulova. High is watches like Rolex, Tag Heuer, Cartier, etc. Prices can be anywhere from $40 to $40k or more.
