I dropped my Serengeti sunglasses on a concrete floor and my girlfriend accidentally stood on them, only damage was a small scratch to the frames, lenses were completely unscathed. Highly recommend

Serengeti has the best lenses I’ve ever used. I like the 555 green lens but the drivers lens is also excellent. Will be bifl if you take care of them.

Surprised no one has mentioned Serengetti. They are by far the best glasses I have ever owned. Feel very solid, and the glass gives the best view I have ever had. Note that the glass you get is important for your use case.

For pure sunlight blocking, sure. But Maui Jim, Costa, Serengetti etc lens quality blows cheap sunglasses out of the water. How crisp and colorful the world looks with a good pair of lenses is worth the money 10x over

Any suggestions for high-quality polarized sunglasses that don’t have a huge markup just because of the brand?
I am trying to be very frugal when it comes to sunglasses. However, when/if my 15-year old, daily worn, Serengeti Maestrale (with Polar PhD Drivers lenses) finally breaks, I'll buy another pair of the same in a heartbeat. And if you offer me a free Ray-Ban or other "luxury" brand?... I'll sell it and buy a second pair of Serengeti Maestrale.
