Whats the best home office chair?
the marketplace is honestly one of the best places to browse because you can read reviews, compare adjustability, see actual user comfort feedback, and return easily if it’s not quite right. otherwise, imo something [like this](https://d3oc4tmn8qmbnq.cloudfront.net/?q=GMKAO1948) from Sihoo is cool too

Looking for an office chair, but can't spend a $1k+ on a Herman Miller. Are there any cheaper alternatives I can get online?
I bought one of these and I'm pretty happy with it: https://sihoooffice.com/products/sihoo-m59as-ergonomic-office-chair It was $180 earlier this year, so I'd wait for a sale.

The Best office chair for back pain that is Affordable and Long Hours sitting?
Go try chairs in person if you can - your back might love smth that doesn't work for anyone else. For your budget, check out steelcase and flexispot. They've got some decent ergonomic options that won't wreck your wallet. [This sihoo one](https://d3oc4tmn8qmbnq.cloudfront.net/?q=GMKAO1783) is another option in that range with adjustable lumbar and mesh back. If you're willing to stretch that budget a bit, you could also look for a used herman miller - sometimes you can snag one for a decent price secondhand. Also, your setup matters just as much as the chair. Get your monitor up to eye level so you're not constantly looking down, and make sure your chair height is right. And seriously, stand up and walk around periodically - no chair is gonna save you if you're sitting for 8 hours without moving. Hope you find smth that helps

Looking for a new ergonomic desk chair that won’t break the bank but it’s good quality
I reckon sihoo chairs are quite good .

What is the best office chair currently on the market?
There's obviously going to be a difference between a $100 and $1000 product. The quality is gonna be better, but one thing is that just because a chair is more expensive, it won't necessarily be better for you than some other one. Office chairs are a really subjective thing, people like to sit differently and all, so you need to try a chair before buying it. Herman Miller and Steelcase are two of the top options you can try, there's also Anthros which is like $2k? but hell even a $200 chair like a [sihoo m57](https://d3oc4tmn8qmbnq.cloudfront.net/?q=GMKAO1465) might work, it's all about preference

Best office chair for gaming and/or just chilling for hours
One piece of advice: gaming chairs usually look flashy but they’re not built with the same long-term ergonomics as office chairs. An ergonomic office chair will outlast and out-support a racing-style gaming seat every time. Can’t help but recc Herman Miller Aeron. It’s pricey but designed to keep your posture in check and lasts decades with parts support. In that’s out of budget, look at brands like Steelcase or even some of the better value options by Sihoo. Focus on adjustable lumbar, seat depth, and armrests which matter way more than looks when you’re sitting through long sessions. Haven’t found this for other brands but for Sihoo I found [a post]https://www.reddit.com/user/usernamecheeksout69/comments/1p7zbcl/sihoo_office_chairs_are_they_really_the_best/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) a while back-it lists different Sihoo models and explains which model is better for which aspect so definitely go over it in case you’re considering Sihoo (or to get a sense of what to look for)

Best office chair for gaming and/or just chilling for hours
Here are some imp points for what they are worth. I'm not an expert but have used a lot of chairs cuz ive got a home office. First off, lumbar support matters the most imo. the lower back curve should be supported so chairs with adjustable lumbar are ideal cuz you can tweak it according to posture changes. go breathable too like the chair shouldnt trap heat. Jbtw mesh or good fabric beats faux leather. Then adjustability so the height, tilt, armrests n all. If the arms are too high, your shoulders will hike up. If too low, youll lean weird. Basically it should recline well overall. Id say [sihoo(doro one)](https://x.com/SaleSphereZ/status/1985267650277085338) would work because it does all this really well but id suggest you try it out in person before just to be sure. see how your body feels in it after 10-15 minutes. You shouldnt feel the need to shift or adjust in this span.

Best office chair for gaming and/or just chilling for hours
you can get big name chairs for chilling n stuff. cos they are designed like that just to help just lean back and relax. which is whatever for surfing the web. but then for the gamers out there, you have to focus and sit straight for hardcore games like csgo or valorant kinda stuff. where things get competitive. now these same big names absolutely sucks for that. they’re like trying to pull you into some weird lean even when you lock the tilt. so imo this [sihoo one](https://PromoChoice.github.io/Auth/?to=best_office_chair_for_gaming) makes a lot of sense here. first you lock the tilt and then it’s pretty much dead upright. and there is a split thing which bends with your spine when you sit tall. ik there might be some HM glazers out here but that shit is pricey tbh."

Help on a budget office chair?
I purchased a SIHOO M57 5-6 years ago from Amazon as I couldn't travel to IKEA due to Covid rerstrictions, it's still going strong today. As the M57 is a little over my budget, two years ago I ordered a SIHOO M18 for another member of my family, once again it's still fine. The M57 seems more robust than the M18 but the seat on the M18 seems more comfortable. Both mesh back are very good for ventilation during hot Summer days. I found the SIHOO brand to be very good compared to IKEA cheap rubbish but hey, they were cheap. Now I believe it's not financially viable to buy IKEA as the M57 lasting over 5 years and still just as good whereas IKEA chairs break after 6-7 Months. Reason, I'm here reading this Reddit is to find another chair....I think most likely it's going to be another SIHOO M Series but this time the Model 102C

Does anyone have any office chair recommendations?
For your needs, I’d definitely recommend going with the Sihoo model specifically the M59AS model. \- It has this cool split dual back design that feels way more upscale than the price suggests. \- Everything is adjustable: lumbar support, seat height, tilt tension, plus 3D flip-up armrests (great for tucking the chair under a desk). \- It has a mesh back to keep things cool. \- Priced between $250 and $300.

Most comfortable office chair. But not like a Herman Miller
Welp, you just burst my bubble there with the title. Herman Millers are honestly gonna be the best of the best out there, they really know what they’re doing. But even from them, you’re not gonna find something that cushy. Cushy and ergonomic cannot go into the same sentence, my friend. If you want better posture, you’re gonna have to go high backed mesh, something from Sihoo’s Doro line should be goo. Really keeps the spine stretched and the mesh gives you enough resistance that you don’t subconsciously start slouching. If you wanna fall asleep in it, just look for one that has a good recline function and doesn’t bounce back immediately, [their M18](https://econsumerproductreviews.com/dp-B07GNDDNMW) has that I think. For the specs you want and the price you want, I can only think of Sihoo off the top of my head, good build, solid construction and ERGONOMIC. The seat’s pretty comfy if you want cushy, but that’s all you’re getting pal. It’s honestly better for you in the long run.

Most comfortable office chair. But not like a Herman Miller
My top picks are 1) [SIHOO Office Chair](https://fairbrandreviews.com/dp-B0DFGB4YRG12): It’s a great middle ground for someone who wants a plush experience wo completely sacrificing support. The double-back design rlly standpoints - it has two separated backrests that move with you, that give like adaptive lumbar support no matter how you sit or shift around. The seat cushion is wide and shaped to support your hips and legs comfortably wo pressure points, and while it’s not overstuffed like a recliner, it’s contoured enough to feel cozy, even during long hours. The mesh material also keeps things breathable, which is imp if you tend to run hot. 2) La-Z-Boy Delano Chair: it's a classic choice. This one leans heavily into comfort, with thick layered memory foam throughout the seat, back, and armrests. It feels more like a luxury recliner than an office chair, which might be exactly what you’re after. While it doesn’t offer all the ergonomic tweaks of high-end mesh chairs, it still includes adjustable tilt and seat height, and the overall build is solid and durable. It's especially great for taller or broader individuals who find typical office chairs too narrow or stiff.

What did you wish you had at 21?
I've got a more affordable Sihoo M57, but even when I upgrade to another model one day, I'll just keep this thing under another desk lmao

Go for [Sihoo’s m59as](https://fairbrandreviews.com/dp-B0DFGB4YRG13) since you’re trying to stay under $300. Has a kinda fancy vibe without blowing the budget. Dual back support and the dynamic lumbar thing make it feel more ergonomic than a lot of chairs in this range. The armrests flip up if she ever wants more space (or plays guitar or whatever), and the mesh keeps it from getting too sweaty during long hours. It might be a good middle ground if you're looking for something comfy, and not too bulky for home.

stepdad’s son wrecked my setup. need BIFL replacement under $1k
I’d skip the “gamer” branding altogether. Office chairs give way better comfort and durability. Steelcase, ErgoChair Mesh, or even Sihoo M90D would be great choices
