Best boxer briefs with pouch
Ahhh mate, I’d stick with SAXX or Stance for sure 🤙 solid pouch, doesn’t sag after a few months ripping waves

Thinking of going all in on Stance socks. Good choice?
I have stance socks that are like 7 years old that I still wear weekly

Bombas Socks have really let me down. Any recommendations welcome!
I've had very good luck with Stance socks, specifically the ones made with Infiknit.

I like Stance socks. They’re kind of pricey but man are they comfortable!

Bombas Socks have really let me down. Any recommendations welcome!
The two socks that I have recently purchased and loved are Stance socks, and Bioaum athletic socks. They fit really nice and are super comfy. I have narrower feet than most people though, so I wonder if that factors into it at all. I hope they last a long time. In terms of socks I have owned for a long time that have held up: Timberland crew socks have survived a lot of yardwork, caving, and hiking adventures.

Bombas Socks have really let me down. Any recommendations welcome!
People saying Darn Tough are absolutely correct. But I’ll add something different- Stance. They don’t have a lifetime warranty that I know of so they’re cheaper than DT. I’ve had many pairs that are 7 years old and still in rotation. I recently bought a few more pairs and have also been happy with them so far but can’t speak to the long term quality of the newer models yet.

Stance socks with the Infiknit logo - they replace for free for life. Save your order number and send it with a pic of your hole-in-sock and they send you a code for a free pair.

BIFL Cotton Socks for a relatively active person
Stance InfiKnit. If it ever wears out/gets a hole, they will replace it.

Thinking of going all in on Stance socks. Good choice?
Had a couple come apart at the ankle. Contacted Stance and they sent me gift codes for new ones. I’m a believer. Now I’ve got way too many. It’s all I wear at work. 👍👍

If you live near a stance store, their “Infiknit” line is great. If you ever get a hole in one of the socks, take it to the store and they’ll swap it out for another pair free of charge. I’ve done it probably 5-6 times over the last 5 years. I love the infiknit butter blend line, sometimes you can find them at Ross for $6, or I just wait for a sale.

Thinking of going all in on Stance socks. Good choice?
I found that Stance’s quality went down after Covid. I’ve gone so far as eBay to find vintage Stance socks from 2015-2018 that are still BIFL.

Thinking of going all in on Stance socks. Good choice?
I get a solid 5-6 years out of the fun stance socks. The running socks I’ve prob had going close to 10 years and they are still good. Brace yourself for the Darn Tough street team around here. They love free ugly socks for life.

Brands That Used to Be BIFL — But Aren't Anymore?
Hate to hear this. I’ve never gotten into Bombas cause I can’t get away from Stance. I have pair that are 9 years old still in daily rotation. Tried Darn Tough and like them but at double the price of Stance I don’t choose them often.

I’m sick of Nikes terrible quality. What are some good name branded clothes that won’t wear out in 3 weeks.
Nike socks are the worse I’ve tried and I like a good sock so have tried many. Least comfortable, look aged quickly unless you get the thicker running socks, and they get holes quickly. On the other hand I love their running shorts. And their cotton/poly tees are decent in the gym if you hate the feel of most technical polyester tees. Stance are the best socks by the way.

Yup my partner has experienced the same issue. Stance socks have lasted him longer and don’t loose the elastic feeling

High quality and soft men t-shirts
Stance butter blend. $50 and they don’t offer many options but they are great quality, very soft and great fit. The socks and underwear are top notch too

Best everyday socks for sweaty feet?
Just got some of the running pairs with the tabs on the back and so far like them. The only thing I don't like is that you're not supposed to wash them like every single time you wear them, and they're super expensive at like $19 a pair. But they're really comfortable and have good cushion. And it's nice to know they cover for life. I still think it's a bit ridiculous to replace all of my socks with them. Will still be searching for other brands. Stance has some good ones that have the tabs that have held up really well over the last year, and you can get 2-3 pairs for ~$20, especially when on sale, but they aren't merino wool, so don't breathe as well. Haven't jumped into Smart Wool yet, but I've seen them in outdoorsy stores and they feel super comfortable. Not sure what their price point is, but that's an easy lookup

For the love of god, where can I buy some ankle socks that don’t get holes in them in a month?
Stance socks have held up better than literally any other sock brand I've purchased.

I got tired of holes with a year and recently tried out the brand Stance. They fit great and hold up well so far. I think good socks are under appreciated.

Is this normal for brand-new Bombas?
Yes I’ve have my stance socks for YEARS, some over a decade, with heavy wear and they still feel great, especially the running socks. I always buy them as gifts for people because they are so pricey it’s kind of hard to justify, but once you get them they just make life better 😆. They’re literally all I will buy now, but I’ve never had to toss a pair.

BIFL Socks that ARENT darn tough?
Stance.

What brands do you trust?
Darn Tough socks are terrible if you have large feet and more heel girth. They pinch in the absolute worst spot. I personally like Stance socks way better, but they dont have a lifetime guarantee. At least I dont think they do. REI has become way overpriced and they have started to nitpick returns. Their membership 'garage' section is also too expensive and should be renamed 'garbage.' REI was great for a long time, but its just trash now. The cottage industry of ridiculously priced hipster hiking and camping gear forced me to just start making my own. Millennials seemed to have destroyed everything. I use leather Kinco work gloves and just waterproof them, for scrambling and hiking. It works pretty well. They cost like $10-20 depending if you want insulated gloves or not. I bought some 'tech' running/travel pants from Costco, I really dont know what they are I dont think they were Kirkland. They are kind of skinny strechy pants. But they are quick drying and make great climbing/hiking pants and cost less than $20 I hit up consignment stores and pawn shops a lot for outdoor stuff, I wanted a watch with a barometer and a GPS, that tracked my route but the newer ones are really expensive and required a subscription. I got an older model Suunto watch for like $20 that did everything I wanted, no required subscription. I also replaced my Suunto compass recently and noticed it was made in China, I compared it to a friends compass and it was off...So I returned it. I tracked down a used Suunto compass made in Finland, paid a fraction of what it cost new and its perfect. Now days the cheap brands seem to be better than the large name brands, and everything new is shit.
