Something you didn’t expect to be BIFL but outlasted your expectations?
Revere Ware set of pots from the late 50s or early 60s that were passed down to me from my grandmother. She used them pretty much every day from the time she bought them. I have been using them since 2007. Starter brand gym bag that I got in 1993 that I still use. It’s in remarkably good shape. The Kentucky Wild Cats logo has partially worn off but it still functions. White’s Semi Dress boots. They were an impulse purchase in 2009. They are still holding strong. They need another resole soon. Tag Heuer Classic 2000 watch. I was gifted the watch in 1998 and still wear it often.

What’s one product you bought that has lasted forever and was totally worth it?
i had a cast iron set for decades. finally had to give it to my best friend and his wife bc I couldn't use it safely anymore... limited mobility/manual dexterity issues. still have an butt ugly carbon steel chef's knife I bought at a fleamarket over 30 years ago for $2--bc it was stained and the stall owner didn't realize it was carbon steel. like many folks, he didn't recognize that carbon steel makes for excellent knives that hold an edge well, but they look ugly. not like the shiney stainless stuff also bought a down winter jacket. happened to be Starter brand. intended for the ski slopes. had it over 20 years in central PA where it's def recouped the cost several times over, even if we don't get much snow lately.

What's your most comfortable and durable piece of clothing?
Not sure what would happen ifit was an all year round kind of thing, but I have a pullover starter jacket from the mid/late 90’s that is still in great shape.
