  My belt got rubbed off after a short backpacking trip. What belt do you have that lasts?

  I’ve had 2 Tanner goods belts for almost 2 decades. I wear one 75% of the time. I’ve had one hole punched in that. The other I got a black buckle that has rubbed off some of the black so it doesn’t look as good. Just get brown and brass and never buy another.

  Looking for the best wallets for men that actually last

  I've used a Tanner Goods utility bifold for the past 7 years and it's held up reasonably well. I abuse the shit out of it, and its starting to show its age but works fine. I'd buy it again. I've also found some incredible leather workers over at Leather Classifieds on reddit and through some clicking their IG's found even more than post over there and would probably use one of those companies/people. Found a guy named Pelican Pete, and Lighthouse Leather that I'd probably order one from.

  Any BIFL Dress Belts?

  If it’s of any consolation whatsoever, I have had my tanner goods belt for about 9 years. I condition it with a $12, one-step wipe with some Dr martens leather balm once, maybe twice, per year. It still looks great, has hardly stretched, and has not cracked at all. Expensive, but has saved me money in the long run. Good luck!

  Wallet recommendations

  I have been slowly compiling a list of leather wallet makers, as recommended throughout Reddit. I'm reading reviews on different social media platforms. I have left off companies that have known issues responding to customers, always seem to have a 365 day sale, or their least expensive wallet is over $99 (like a basic card wallet).   Veg tan leather or bridle leather belts Tanner goods, hanks, filson should fit the bill Unless you are matching with formal office dress shoes, try to find for the darkest brown belt you can find instead. It wears nicer and matches clothing easier

  Looking for leather belt recommendations

  Tanner Goods in Portland, OR sells BIFL belts. Although the belt I bought a long time ago was like $75, the same Standard belt is $120 now. It's an everyday belt that will LAST. I wear mine everyday... amazing quality

  Has Hanks Belts changed ownership? Now junk?

  I love my belt from tanner goods. Personally, I think they look a lot better than most other high quality USA made leather goods in the same price range.
