Womens winter boots that are warm!!
I recently got a pair of Taos that are easily the best boots I’ve ever owned for my narrow feet. They are so warm and they fit like they were made for me.

Looking for Shoes for Flat Feet!
You should get custom orthotics from an orthopedist. Some practices have a small shoe shop onsite. Not familiar with brands for men, but for the benefit of any women who landed here, Taos for clogs and other walking shoes—these have good arches. Oka-B for flip flops with an arch for trips to a pool or beach.

What brand of shoes that lasts?
I've had white Adidas sneakers for years now. I agree with all the comments about rotating though! Another trick to get more life out of shoe is to replace the laces and the inserts. You can get memory foam ones on Amazon for like $10! As for other quality shoe brands, I love my Tao sandals and leather sneakers (they are only made for women though, which is interesting), SAS, Sorel, and Naot. All of them are on the pricier side, but they are worth it for the comfort and craftsmanship! My most recent work shoes are Under Armour from their outlet, and they've actually held up incredibly well for the last year or so (I'm a nurse, so they get a lot of wear!) If you are looking for shoes made in the US d/t the cost of tariffs right now, Pikilinos are made here.

Looking for some quality, american made womens boots
Have you looked into Taos footwear? A quick online search shows they are designed in the USA and put together in other places. I can’t find any mention of China specifically, but Spain and Portugal are mentioned. I own a couple of pairs and they are comfortable, durable boots.

Ladies, what are the MOST comfortable boots you’ve worn for walking 10k+ steps a day?
Solovair boots are the original Doc Martens and are still made in the original British factory, whereas Docs are now made in China. Like the old Docs they are stiff at first but really sturdy and have a great foot bed. My favorites though are Taos boots. Stylish, comfortable from the start and I wear them for everything from motorcycle riding to walking and standing all day at work and still look brand new.

Ladies, what are the MOST comfortable boots you’ve worn for walking 10k+ steps a day?
Sorel. Their wedge booties and sneakers are so dang comfortable, and have held up better than any other boots/shoes I own. Taos is also very comfortable and they're designed with high arches. Their leather high tops so far are lasting a fair while for me. I've been wearing them regularly for the last three years and no issues.

PSA: avoid buying Ecco shoes.
Ecco soles detiorate .UNLIKE. ANY other shoes I've ever owned. Ecco has known about this over a decade yet has never cared enough to correct and fix their problem. I no longer buy the inferior Ecco brand. I buy Taos and SAS all of which have lasted well and ARE quality. Shame on Ecco for continuing to make crap and rip off consumers.

The wool slipper saga
I had these Taos slipper boots and they were very comfortable and warm. My only complaint is that the "cork" sole is actually just rubber with an overlay, and the overlay wore off in spots and they looked really beat up. But if they were only worn indoors they probably wouldn't get such a beating. https://www.zappos.com/p/unisex-taos-footwear-good-wool-brown-olive/product/9901181
