My 2500 works as new. I also have a good working TI-150 handheld with a good working 0.2 inch plasma display that I designed. It was the only handheld they every sold with a Panaplex display.

I have a working TI-2500 Datamath with the little red LED display from 1973. I worked at TI as an Engineer in the calculator department.

TI36X pro still works perfectly.
Neat. I still have my 9 year old Nspire CX CAS since highschool. It isn't exam legal at KTH so I supplemented with a TI-30XB for exam use. Hoping they last a long time.

TI36X pro still works perfectly.
Got mine 13 years ago, and it was way too powerful lol. It has all the capabilities of a ti83, minus the graphing display, including a multi-variable auto solver, common science constants, and memory storage (variables and equations). I definitely was able to solve a few problems during tests that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to with a "normal" non-graphing calculator, but none of the proctors were suspicious because it looked like a regular non-graphing calculator.

What's the oldest item you still use daily that has withstood the test of time, and what's its story?
Mine’s only 20 years old, not 40, but I still use my TI-83 almost daily. Replaced the cover a few years ago when the original wore out. Lives loose in my backpack. Love that thing.
