Is there anything you're convinced is "the cheaper the better"?
Same certification here! :D CeraVe and the ordinary for life though.

Is there anything you're convinced is "the cheaper the better"?
I tried heavier moisturizers when I moved to a much drier climate, and cerave actually gave my sensitive rosacea skin a bad reaction! La Roche-Posay and Vichy felt super indulgent, especially compared to other drugstore products, and my skin loved them. They’re my “bougie on a budget” buys. Now that I’m back to more normal humidity though, The Ordinary squalane is enough most days. In general, minimizing my skincare routine and sticking to products that have fewer ingredients seems to have helped my skin and my pocketbook.

Men, What’s the best moisturiser?
Not a man (not sure why men would have better recommendations? Everyone has a face) but my favorite facial moisturizer is the Ordinary natural moisturizer+ HA. HA stands for hyaluronic acid, and it's a great moisturizing ingredient. $14 and one of the best facial moisturizers I've tried in the past 20 years. CeraVe also makes good facial moisturizer, especially one with sunscreen. For the record, my husband uses both of these also.

What brands do you trust to always deliver a high quality product?
AYR and ME+EM for clothing, Garrett Wade for spun iron cook/bakeware and candleholders, Misen for knives (so cheap, sharpen like a dream), Linoto for napkins, The Ordinary for skincare, Nisolo and The Office of Angela Scott for footwear.
