I DO like it lol, but you asked why the $100 and i feel like the answers you were getting didn’t really emphasize exactly why Thermapen cost $100 compared to other $20-30 thermometers, its the speed and accuracy, but mostly speed. Speed and its corresponding patent is the price difference. No other product can use their tech (till china takes a peek) until their patent runs out, so until then they dont really have any competition.

Sweet! Keep using that one then. I bought several in the $30 range and they sucked. Bought my Thermapen \~6 years ago and haven't looked back at options recently.
