Recommendations for cozy modular sectional with washable covers?

Ask an open ended question vice shopping your conclusions. Seating for 3 or 12? Midcentury modern or art deco? https://www.thisendup.com/pros/858/Atlantic_Sectional.htm is a sectional but not sure if you want something bigger or want a true modular with 97 different pieces. It will last 200 years. You'd have to call and ask about if the covers are removeable but you can have them recovered later and/or get a slip cover from a local upholstery shop.

Sleeper sectional or regular?
Any shit bed solution you choose will be shit. Do you want mom to sleep in dogshit (futon) or catshit (sectional)? A bed is a bed a <XXX bed-ish thing> is shit. If you are OK with guest sleeping in shit, spin the wheel and pick one. Or tell your guests to enjoy their hotel. Or at least me economic and get an air mattress for the living room for nighttime use.
