I know im definitely late but I also have amazing luck with "threadup" for jeans and also handbags specifically. You can find high end denim on thread up for a fraction of the price. But like the comment above me stated. Always compare measurements, look for "very good", "excellent ", "NWOT", "NWT" condition. And I personally always make sure they're are 100% cotton. Rigid denim just lasts way longer. Takes a minute to break in but so worth it!

Why is it so hard to find well-made clothes that aren't insanely priced?
I get a lot of nice stuff on thredup for normal or reallly low prices. I was able to buy pretty much my whole work wardrobe from there.

Where do people sell their stuff online nowadays?
Thredup for clothes, because life is too busy already and they handle everything. You just have to make sure that you send clothes that are in season for the next three months so they sell.

I just ordered from ThredUp for the first time, and was pretty happy with it. It’s an online thrift store, and you can sort your search to only show 100% cotton/wool/linen/silk or natural fibers.
