Us it "Worth It" to Purchase a "Nice" Bath Towel?
Yeah I had my fair share of crappy towels from Amazon that barely lasted a year. I did a ton of research online and on here on affordable and durable bath towels. I was going to go for the macys hotel collection turkish towels but looking at the reviews, the quality seems to be going downhills like a lot of things nowadays. I went for Threshold spa towels from target $15 and the company store turkish towels on sale for about $24 to see how those hold up.

The flatware controversy: When did spoons become that sticky?
>When did the purchase of flatware become this existential? It didn't. Go to Target get something like [this](https://www.target.com/p/20pc-izon-flatware-set-silver-threshold-8482/-/A-52465936#lnk=sametab) I've had it for 20 years never had an issue.

Let’s Talk Wirecutter: What Was Worth It and What Wasn’t?
I have a set of the Threshold sheets and overal really like them, *but* the pillow cases invariably wrinkle to hell on the open edge, to the extent that even an iron can't seem to stop the fabric from doubling over. I don't have that issue with any other sheets, just the threshold ones. It's very weird and also annoying.

Bed sheets that last?
Recommend Thomas Lee. Have a set that I alternate with very nice Threshold ones from Target, and the Thomas Lee have lasted a decade while I’m on my second Threshold set.

Where do you buy hotel-quality bed sheets and pillows without spending a fortune? I want my bed to feel like a Marriott stay.
Kirkland sheets from Costco! If you don't have a friend with a Costco card, Target's Threshold Performance sheets are a runner up. Both sets go on sale occasionally.

That I don't know. I don't think higher is necessarily better, as someone else explained the percale weave offers airflow, which would not be achieved with a super high thread count. I got mine from Target, one set is Opalhouse, which it looks like they have discontinued. The other was Threshold I believe. Also, my duvet cover is this dark green flower patterned one from Ikea. It is also percale weave and very nice and icy cold.

Comfortable sheets that actually last.
It's Threshold brand from Target, supposedly pet hair resistant. Shell is 60% cotton, 40% polyester. 100% polyester fill. I enjoyed reading the Wirecutter article so about sheets but feel I need one for comforters/quilts!
