Thursday boot company…any good?
Love my Thursday Boots (3 Combats), it's been about 5 years & the price has more then doubled!! After visiting the website today, why don't they just say Leather? Because mine are high quality material, not leather. They are in excellent condition, great in all seasons, and indestructible. I just wanted a different color but not at this price. Since I have 3 pairs, am good to go and they clean up real nice. Good luck choosing.

What's everyone's go-to sneaker?
For an athletic type shoe, New Balance Made in USA. I like the 990v6 personally. I own 3 pairs in different colors. For a leather sneaker, I go with Thursday Boot Company, primarily because they fit me well and offer very wide fits (EEE)

Tired of shoes lasting 6-12 months. What to get?
Thursday Boot Co has done me well. I’m a woman, but I have a pair and got my partner a pair like yours. Had them 4 years so far, put them through multiple New England winters/summers and they still look/fit/wear great. I do zero maintenance on them, and they would look even better if I did.

Goth/Punk-style combat boot recommendations?
Honestly, I've been looking at the Thursday Boot Company for relatively inexpensive combat boots that aren't too heavy. They're relatively high quality, though certainly not top of the line. If you really want the best looking combat boots, find some older Corcoran jump boots on eBay. I find them too heavy for regular wear, but I've got some disabilities that complicate things. The new Corcorans have that same shitty plastic coating on them as shiny Docs and Solovairs, apparently, which is why looking for second-hand ones are better. You'll have to take care of the leather properly, of course.

Any thoughts on Thursday Boot Company?
I have 2 boots, 3 sneakers, 3 dress shoes, 1 weekender bag, and a work bag. I can say they are some of the best leather products I’ve ever purchased. My co workers purchase LV items and for the cost of 1 bag, I’ve spent less on ALL of my products. Plus, the quality is there as well. I take good care of my stuff so I haven’t had issues with keeping things looking nice.

Best shoes for walking/standing all day?
Depends a lot on what you're doing. In general I'd recommend a wedge sole and avoid things that are waterproof. Water resistant will be much more comfortable and keep the vast majority of people perfectly dry. Thorogood, Keen, Red Wing, Danner and Carolina are good choices. Nick's and White's are great choices. For casual/dress boots I'd check out Thursday Boot Company, Red Wing Iron Rangers, and Grant Stone.

[Europe] Redwing alternatives
Closest in terms of quality i could find was Urban Shepards, tough they have singular color which i don't like. Also managed to snag returned Thursday Captain's for 90€ so they do their job for now.
