Does anyone have experience with Tineco vacuums?
The performance is good and so is the customer service. I damaged the batteries (water) and they replaced them at a low cost. We then had some accidental damage to an attachment and they replaced it for free.

Looking for a stick vacuum like the one in the photo trusted models you’ve used for years?
I will second this. I 100% love our Tineco.

Looking for a solid portable vacuum cleaner
For quick cleanups, the **Tineco A50S** works well. It’s cordless and easy to carry, perfect for crumbs in the car or small spills at home.

Best wet/dry carpet washer
the Tineco one smart has a drying mode and shows soil levels so you know when its actually clean. If you dont mind a heavier unit, the bissell big green dries pretty fast and has stronger suction

Tired of buying cheap vacuums that break, thinking of paying more for something reliable
Had a Miele for less than a year but I grabbed a Tineco last Black Friday and tbh I’m leaning toward keeping it. Suction’s killer and the motor actually feels built to last.

Finally stopped buying cheap vacuums and invested in a better one, does it actually last?
For suction drop, make sure to clean the air filter. Pretty often like every other vacuuming. It will keep the suction strong. Really I just use a corded vacuum when I need to do more than a quick clean up. Cords suck but it's just so much better performance and a $150 corded vacuum will outperform any battery powered vacuum in long sessions cleaning multiple rooms.

Will do, so far the base is the part I’m most impressed by, but I’ll update once I’ve put more miles on it.

Only thing I’ve noticed is that it performs best if you keep the filter and roller clean. As long as I stay on top of that, suction hasn’t dropped at all.

I’ve had mine for about 8 months. Still works great. I rinse the filter and clean the roller once in a while and it hasn’t lost power. Not perfect, but definitely more durable than any budget vacuums I’ve owned.

Best budget wet and dry vacuum cleaner?
Tinecos are one of the few things that are not particularly resilient that I would still say are worth it. At least if you have a lot of hard floors. The water is consistently disgusting coming out of ours even when we run it with clean appearing floors that a robot vacuums every other day. We have ~2k sq ft hard floors in a ranch that we run ours on at least once a week. Vacuuming and mopping would easily take an hour, we can run the Tineco at a sprint in 15 minutes. Very subjective, ymmv, but in terms of utility and value of my time, it’s a no-brainer.

Best budget wet and dry vacuum cleaner?
We got a Tineco and it had been great. From what I have researched they are easily repaired as well.

Tineco S10. Not sure if they’re available in Canada. We have one and it works great (also well reviewed).

Tineco worth the money?
I had the **Tineco Pure One Station (original version)** and at first, I was impressed with the design and the self-cleaning base. But unfortunately, it turned into a headache fast. The main unit kept failing every 2 months like clockwork. It would show it was charging, but then just wouldn’t turn on. After some digging, I saw this wasn’t an isolated case — it seems to be a **serial issue with the built-in battery**, and since you can’t remove it, the whole unit is basically toast when that fails. Tineco support was responsive and sent me replacements twice, but after the third failure, I asked for a refund. What’s interesting is that they’ve since **pulled the original model from Amazon Germany** and are now only selling the **Tineco Pure One Station 5**, which has a **removable battery** and improved reliability. I’ve been using the **Station 5** for a while now and so far, no problems at all. Much better built. Also, I use the **Tineco Floor One S7 mop**, and paired with the Station 5 it’s an amazing setup for tile or hard floors — especially if you're looking for something efficient for pet hair or kids. Is Tineco “buy it for life”? Honestly, **no** — not in the traditional BIFL sense. But **if you go with their newer models (like Station 5 or S7)**, and catch a good sale, they can be solid tools for day-to-day cleaning. Just steer clear of the older versions with non-replaceable batteries.

Recommendations on Cordless Vacuum
Tineco is reasonably priced, durable, and you can get two batteries so that you always have a charge. Be sure to search for a review that compares several brands. You may find that Dyson doesn't fare well on some tests.
