Carhartt J140 not made in the USA anymore
I emailed tough duck recently to have clarification on the hooded canvas bomber on where it was made. They advised designed in Canada but made to their standards( basically imported). So I’m not if any of their stuff is made in Canada anymore. Big bill is one that still is made in Canada/usa.

Carhartt J140 not made in the USA anymore
Not sure if they still make them or what, but I have a very similar hooded canvas bomber by Tough Duck. I think made in Canada. Was quite hard for me to get here in Australia but it's a great garment.

Brands That Used to Be BIFL — But Aren't Anymore?
Depending on where you are in the world - try the brand Tough Duck instead. Even if you don't get as much wear as you used to with carhartt, it's significantly cheaper. They don't have as many styles of things unfortunately. They also have some women's options & hi-viz if needed for work. Carhartt is basically a fashion brand by now. It started in the 90s with the skating scene, but now it's overpriced hoodies for the average joe. Designed to look good, not to wear well. Plus, absolutely abysmal quality control at this point.
