  subscriptions are such a greedy practice for doorbell cameras, idk how they're approved. technology between diff manufacturers doesn't really differ that much, it's mostly the same, just make sure to go for ring and chime. rest is pretty much the same, i like tapo. it's from [tp-link](https://deo9gr5ha90bn.cloudfront.net/?q=GMKAO2088) and ive been using their products for a long time, def recommend

  Oops! I looked on Amazon again and it appears that TP-Link has 2 different varieties of Model BE9700 routers. The one that you are probably looking at has visible antennas? The one that I was referencing has internal antennas. Either one would be good. The only difference that I could tell between the BE9300 and BE9700 is the speed of the wired ports. The BE9700 has screaming fast wired ports which would probably be overkill for most people. The prices: * BE9300 internal antennas - $229.99 * BE9700 internal antennas - $269.99 * BE9700 visible antennas - $219.99 I wish that I could post pics.

  Grab a Wi-Fi 6 router. TP-Link AX1500 or ASUS RT-AX55 are solid picks. They're a bit cheap, reliable, and handle a ton of devices. Put it central in the house and you’re golden.

  Eventually will switch to unifi (when i have the money) however im very happy with my current deco system! Bought my current deco to replace a nighthawk mesh(stay away) and its been rock solid since the initial set up

  Eero is okay but last time I checked you can’t do port forwarding with it. TP-Link seems good, no issues since the firmware update a year ago.

  I would recommend the Netgear Orbi 770 and it offers excellent coverage, strong performance for streaming and gaming, and the app is really easy to use. If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, the TP-Link Deco XE70 Pro is a great alternative with solid value.

  I’ve had Deco for over 6 years now and it’s going strong I did have an issue about a year ago, I contacted tplink directly and they replaced the unit without any cost, awesome customer service I couldn’t contact the seller because I bought it on Amazon and they still did my replacement.

  TP-Link tapos have some battery powered cams that you can just put an sd card in. A few are battery powered. The doorbell cam has lasted about 2 or three months on one charge, others are battery powered and solar to keep them rolling longer or indefinitely. No monthly charge and its still connected to wifi so you can access it any time.

  Tapo/TP-link on most of their cameras has NVR support and also stores the data on an SD card that you can pull from when you use the app. I never would have bought them but I was picking them up for as low as $1 each at auction. I strongly strongly suggest using an ethernet cable instead of wifi. I setup a playlist for the cameras and can cycle through them on my PC or with VLC on my phone. I also have them connected to my jellyfin server so any tv locally can watch them if they want to.

  UniFi Protect does support other brands' ONVIF cameras, but just straight recording (no motion detections or AI identification) unless you buy extra UniFi hardware that'll do that computing. I have a handful of UniFi cameras around my shop, and one TP-Link VIGI camera I was given as a demo unit that I mounted in a back room with a rarely used side entrance. I rarely need to reference the camera, but it's nice to have it recording just in case of a break in or something.

  What power bank can use for many devices and for a long time

  I use a TP-link 20000mAh powerbank (TL-PB20000 is the model name) Only use it to charge my phone but it has lasted me years. It does take a while to charge however I found it on the side of the road so the cost/value-ratio is great!
