  i deal with that size bs all the time, it's super common where i live, ive had way too many fights with sellers over it. i like [true classic](https://deo9gr5ha90bn.cloudfront.net/?q=GMKAO2090) cus at the very least their sizes are as advertised. they have a bunch of different types so you should check what kind you like (cotton+polyester is best imo). they have fleece linings only though. price is a bit on the high end but def worth. hardly on sale though, still would go for em

  Costco has started carrying True Classic which fit and wear really well in my experience. I’ve had an inkling to try the Uniqlo based on all recommendations though.

  Quality plain t-shirts

  honestly for basic tees it's way less about the brand and more about the fabric weight, how well the shirt keeps its shape, and whether the collar still looks decent after a bunch of washes. lighter cotton feels nice and soft at first but it stretches and twists into weird shapes fast, while heavier cotton or a cotton/poly blend usually holds up better long-term and doesn't go see-through after a few months. focus on the actual construction first, then pick whatever brand nails that combination in your budget range. something like a cotton/poly crew neck with decent weight will keep its structure way longer than pure lightweight cotton. true classic falls into that category - soft enough to be comfortable but keeps its shape through repeated washing cycles. kirkland's pima cotton tees are another solid option when you can find them without the giant costco logo, heavier and smoother so they drape well without clinging. even budget options [like gildan](https://grassrouteguide.com/dp-B0BJYYH83RS) hammer work fine if you just want a thicker tee that stays opaque and doesn't twist into a pretzel after every wash. the key is finding that balance between comfort and durability - too light and they fall apart, too heavy and they're uncomfortable in warmer weather. once you find a brand and weight that works for your body type and washing routine, just stick with it instead of constantly experimenting.

  Fed up with crappy tshirts. Tried Sene as a last resort (brutally honest review)

  I was skeptical with True Classic since most of the brands peddled by content creators tends to be garbage. I was very pleased with their shirts— they did shrink a bit but I can’t fault them on that. Their quiz and sizing tool is also great— wish I would have answered it knowing my shit washer/dryer would eventually shrink them a tad.

  5’10” 158 lean/muscle True Classic medium fit me like they were tailored. They also last long enough I put my business logo on them for employees and customers.

  No way are Fresh shirts better than True Classic. I’m currently looking at one of each brand side-by-side and there’s just no comparison in terms of quality. After less than a year of washing and wearing, the Fresh shirts feel terrible; lots pilling and loose threads. The textural feel of the fabric is awful. They’re also stiflingly hot. The True Classic shirts are smooth and soft. I can work out in them, layer them, or wear them on their own in warmer weather.

  True Classic tees have very nice sturdy necks. Holds up much better than Hanes or Fruit of the Loom.

  My husband really likes the True Classic tees. They look good on him too, neckline is good. They are a little more than you're average t-shirt, but he says they're worth it. They usually have sales too.
