Best ROI for BIFL Item?
Try uniball power tank pens. I used them in military for rite in the rain books and they always work due to pressurized ink carts. Rite in the rain pens are good but cost more than the powertank pens.

What is one product or brand that you feel is heavily under appreciated?
Uniball JetStream retractable pens. They don't skip, bleed or smear. Smooth and fluid. And the ink is indelible and fade-proof, And lastly, while they aren't the absolute cheapest pens out there, they're still pretty cheap, less than $2 each purchased by the dozen. They're the best pens I've ever used.

Refillable pen suggestions
In absolutely love my Uni jetstream ballpoint if you need a ballpoint. Their uniball one like is great if you like gel. Then there’s the obvious rabbit hole of fountain pens. The Pilot Kakuno is an excellent starter pen. Just get a converter and some ink (vs the cartridges) and you are set. I order most of my stuff from Jetpens.com

Uni-ball Signo RT1 Retractable Gel Ink Pen, Ultra Micro Point 0.28mm So fine. So sexy. Best .28mm I have ever used. I wish they made a metal one.

Unpopular opinion: AliExpress is great ... for some products, like simple metal items.
Second, third and fourth the uniball eye. If I'm not writing in a fountain pen, the nano and micro are the only pens I use.

Where Does "Buy It for Life" Not Make Sense?
As the team scribe, I take my own pen with me to our weekly pub quiz. Everyone thinks I'm mental but there is no way I'm settling for the scratchy, half broken biros available to everyone else. The UniBall Jetstream is my precious.
