  Something you didn’t expect to be BIFL but outlasted your expectations?

  A pink terry cloth robe from Victoria’s Secret that I’ve had for more than 20 years, use every day, and it’s still going strong. I’ve bought other robes thinking I’m due for an upgrade but nothing stacks up.

  Clothing companies not listening to consumers

  I have three pairs of VS pajamas from like 15-20 years ago that I still wear. 100% cotton (poplin or flannel). When I looked for new ones (because I’ve worn the hell of out these), the options are blends or limited color ways. So disappointing.

  Cotton Women’s underwear

  Honestly, I think that the biggest factor for underwear longevity is sizing up. My waist is 24-25”, my hips are like 36”. When I buy smalls, they fit, but they usually get holes within a year or less. Same brand, if I buy mediums, they literally last me years. I have VS cheeky hipster panties that I purchased like 3 years ago. None of them have holes. They’re all I wear. However, I tried buying their Halloween pack recently and was extremely disappointed to find out that they aren’t cotton anymore (or at least 90%+) and VERY thin. I’m sad since I LOVE the cheekster cut, it’s comfy and cute to me. No other cut is this flattering on me. I have yet to find another cheeky hipster that’s cotton and flattering.

  Honestly Victoria’s Secret is pretty durable! I have various thrifted pieces that are in great condition. Many are over 15 years old!

  What's one item you've owned for years that's still going strong-and was totally worth the money?

  Victoria Secret London Jeans. I’ve got 5-6 pairs that are over 23 years old and still going strong. My only complaint ever with them is that no matter how much I’ve worn them or washed them the denim is so thick they never get that relaxed look I prefer.

  BIFL women’s underwear?

  Have you ever had dark colored underwear that lightened in color in the crotch? Sweat and other body fluids do that. That also means the fabric fibers are being damaged. And elastic just doesn't last forever. That said, I have some Victoria's Secret cotton panties I've worn regularly for over ten years, but I'm not endorsing their new ones will hold up like that.
