Cast iron skillet, this one’s over 100 years old and my oldest is up to 145. Just can’t wear it out. Before and after restoring
I have a whole wall full of these (and Wagner Ware -- which is just as good). I didn't pay more than $10 for any of them. And many of them were either free or cost a dollar or two. A lot of people don't have the physical strength to cook with cast iron. So granny's beloved pans go to Goodwill.

What frying pans are we buying? Tired of nonstick pans that only last 6 months.
I have a nice lodge 10 inch pan I had bought and thought was great. Then I inherited my grandma's cast iron Wagner Ware 0 1058 she got around 1940. It has a bottom smooth as glass and i barely need my lodge or any other pan anymore. It outlived her.otlle outlive me. It'll olive whoever gets it after me, assuming there's anyone left to inherit it.

Cast iron pans really do last forever
Griswold and Wagner Ware are highly sought after for vintage cast iron with a very smooth glassy surface. Lodge is cheap and sold everywhere these days, and it's very good.
