  What product would you seriously stockpile if you found out they weren't going to sell it anymore?

  Servisol Super 10, made by CRC works great. CRC contact cleaner, or the newer WD40 contact cleaner, followed by either Super 10, faderlube or gold lube.

  wd-40 is actually amazing at dissolving greasy bike grime, same reason it shouldn't get anywhere near bearings as it'll dissolve the grease. I use it a lot for rebuilding old bikes. 2nd can in 5 years tho... I'm not sure why so many here use up a can for one bike, seems wasteful and probably unhealthy.

  For real, I think I went through like half of a can just doing regular spring PM on my road bike. I also have a lot of iron and carbon steel tools, and summers where I live are HUMID and things flash rust a lot. Even if I'm just using a jointer plane or a chisel, I'll usually give it a little spritz and a wipe once I'm done with the project just so the moisture from the wood doesn't flash rust it overnight. Especially on precision things like reamers and expensive endmills and router bits, it really pays to use WD-40 to avoid having to buy another $200 tool because you let your nice one rust. For lesser used tools, I'll wipe down with WD and then put a something like a CRC rust inhibitor on it that'll last longer, but WD-40 is an important part of keeping tools clean and lasting a long time (and getting your money's worth) if you don't have perfect climate control. I usually go through a couple cans/year, and I usually only do heavy projects in the summer. If I made stuff year round I'd probably use 2-3x as much.

  WD40 Contact Cleaner

  I think op means the wd40 brand contact cleaner which doesn't leave residue. Deoxit is great too. I also like 90% isopropyl alcohol. It is fast evap and not in an aerosol can. You dont have propellent loss or issues with spraying somewhere you dont want it. My little jug of that I've had 10+ years and very cheap.

  What to buy for upkeep of house as a 22M?

  Duct tape, basic tool set (screwdrivers, hammer, nails, etc.) wd40 (so many uses, help to loosen things, address creaky hinges, etc.), plunger, and a bucket (catch leaks, carry soil, flush toilet if power out etc.) I invested in a dyson vacuum year ago, and it's been great. You can also buy and replace parts on their site, so I feel like it was truly worth saving up. I also LOVE my hepa air purifier. It personally helps with my allergies so much, but also, if you're near wildfires, or have a dusty prone room, I would highly highly consider one. Also I'm a bidet convert, I got a basic $40 one, and my TP consumption is down and it's so game changing!

  What happened to my Creuset?

  Try wd 40. It's gets most stuff off I need to clean lol i bet it ain't great for you to eat off after but it would definitely remove it.
