What are some actual BIFL kitchen items?
Small but mighty- 20 years ago I thought a set of stainless steel measuring cups and spoons at world market. The cups have pressed up lettering for measurements and also have markings inside for smaller measurements (the 1/2 cup has an extra mark inside for where 1/3 cup is, etc)- since these aren’t painted or printed, no plastic or silicone handles, and everything goes in the dishwasher easily, they look exactly like they did the day I bought them.

Towels that don’t result in pulled strings
I hate when that happens! I was gifted waffle weave towels from World Market and they don’t do this. The down side is that they’re not as plush as the standard towel.

(Request) BIFL Furniture stores?
I bought a few solid wood tables from World Market about ten years ago. They are incredibly sturdy and look almost the same as they did when I bought them. I have no idea if my experience was atypical for the store or not. And I do know that they sell some pieces that aren't solid wood (you have to look closely at the item description to find out). Otherwise, I've had good luck at consignment stores. Are you looking for a specific piece of furniture? I've found that what's true for couches isn't always true for bookcases or desks so that info may help.
