What are some good, long-lasting rechargeable handwarmers? I would like them to last up to 9/10 hours
1. Get a couple good 21700 aluminum body flashlights that have 2 emitters like Wurrkos HD20. 2. Get 6 extra batteries. 3. Get 2 four bay chargers for the batteries. 4. Use flashlights on low and not melt your clothing, instant heat! Batteries swap! 2 emitters help spread the heat generated. Can use as a lamp. HD20 can also charge your phone.

Whats some item you bought online that earned BIFL status?
A Wurkkos headlamp my brother bought me for xmas 5 years ago. It's easily 20 times brighter than the old Petzl I had, has a solid machined metal housing, strong magnetic base to use as a stationary work light, and I've absolutely abused it for 5 years of camping, wrenching, and DIY projects with zero trouble. Basically a poor man's Olight. I will eventually have to replace the rechargeable 18650 lithium ion battery, but they are the most common and least expensive lithium cells around, and the one it came with hasn't lost much charging capacity as far as I can tell.

10 hours of “research” just to buy one product… this is the real problem in e-commerce.
Just buy a Sofirn or a Wurkkos flashlight. Inexpensive, recommend non-stop for the past few years and good enough to fulfill needs of 80% of people that though of getting a flashlight better than the one on their phone.

Brands you swear by that have Buy It For Life quality products
https://www.amazon.com/Wurkkos-FC11C-Flashlight-Rechargeable-1300Lumen/dp/B0D311QCJM This is probably the #1 recommended budget (cheap compared to some lights you can get) light the flashlight subreddit will recommend you. I have one and it does the job just fine! It charges with a USB-C port, is infinitely brighter than a traditional maglite or even your phone light, and fits in your pocket. For anybody not familiar with flashlights as a hobby, I would recommend to read the manual since the button does alot of things, but if you're ignorant to that, the button is intuitive enough that your grandma can use it. Click on and off, and when its on you can hold it down to change brightness. Also note that these things come with a battery close to the same capacity as your smartphone, so please be careful with it. They are able to be taken out of the flashlight and they hold alot of energy. And don't forget to take the paper separator off that it comes shipped with so it doesn't discharge or whatever.
