The Best Air Purifier on the Market? Recommendation?
I'm using an LG air purifier, got it as a gift from one if my relatives. It works absolutely fine, improves the air quality. I can feel the difference when I step outside my home, the air fells heavier. So I'm satisfied with it. Also, I use a Xiaomi air purifier which I bought recently, same goes for this one as well. Both my Air purifiers are used in 2 bedrooms.

Cheapest phone that isn't so old I can't download apps? iPhone 7 is causing me problems.
I bought a Poco Android phone 2 years ago, from the budget range made by Xiaomi. Best phone I've ever had, and for €350 or so (in a New Year's sale), I got 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. It's been trouble-free and feels like it can handle anything I throw at it. The battery lasts 2 days.

The Best Air Purifier for Home now? Have you noticed a huge difference since you started using them?
I have an old LG purifier and a latest Xiaomi Air Purifier, they are doing what they are supposed to do. I feel the difference when I enter my home also I have installed plants that help clean the air inside.

Best type of heater for a small room?
I did buy the Xiaomi heater and it works really well. The thermostat is not very accurate since it's very close to the heat source but it is very handy for programmed heating in the morning.

Any good WIRED earbuds?
I have some: shure se215 (2006 ones), shure e3c, sony mdr15ex, akg samsung earbuds, panasonic ergofit, and some xaiomi mi, skullcandy (cant remember) and akg k-44 not earbuds these. best for price IMO are akg samsung. even they only come with mic, sound was amazing... cannot find them only copies not good sounding (look for china made not vietnam, they came w/ samsung cell phones back in the day. sony budget are really good. shure se215 are great but pricey and e3c not that great but flat and not so expensive. xiaomi's suck panasonic ergofit are good but too bassy as are skullcandy (some wired some bt) and do yourself a favor and get akg k-44 or whatever the new model is!

Gentle alarm clock without a subscription
I've recently started using my extremely cheap fitness band as an alarm clock with the phone as a backup with a 5 minute offset (in case I sleep through the fitness band). Doesn't need any connection to the phone to work, you can set it up directly on the band and it's very sleek/slim, not like a bulky watch. The band cost like 25$ new, it's a Xiaomi Smart Band 9 and it starts vibrating on your hand to alert you. Has like a 3 week+ battery life if you disable the HR and SPO2 reading (I managed to get exactly 3 weeks with HR/SPO2 monitor and one daily alarm). I charge mine at the first shower I take under 30% battery.

The Best Robot Vacuum that Lasts?
We’ve had a Roborock S50 running daily since 2018. That said in that time I’ve replaced battery, fan motors, LiDAR motor & belt alongside normal consumables like brushes. But it’s easily taken apart and repaired once you get the hang of it and parts are readily available.

List of items to buy for new home
Victorinox chef knife – Affordable, sharp, and reliable. One solid knife is better than a full set of mediocre ones. Clay cookware – I don’t know the exact name, but those cheap clay pots are perfect for slow-cooked stews. Robot vacuum – I have a Xiaomi, not bad, but Im thinking of upgrading. Basic tool set – Start small and buy only what you need. No need for heavy-duty tools unless you're a pro. A basic set is enough for occasional home fixes. Wall clocks – Seriously underrated. Extension cords Metal boxes for paperwork – I second what other redditors have mentioned. Organize by type. Keeps your documents safe and neat. Storage containers – Buy 3 identical ones for each size you pick. Go for square or rectangular. Never round! Round ones waste space and don’t stack well. Portable LED lights – not flash lights

Do smart home items really work in long term?
Same here. My light bulbs from Xiaomi/Mi have been working for 6-7 years. I just recently upgraded the central home device they connect to,because the new, upgraded model uses updated wifi standards vs the old near field comms standards and they react a lot quicker now. I've also been using a Arlo security camera for 5+ years. I guess it comes down to what standards are being used to connect them. Use open source standards such as 'Matter' that are widely used by a lot of manufacturers and you'll be fine longer term.

Unpopular opinion: AliExpress is great ... for some products, like simple metal items.
They have great alternatives for expensive electronics too. You can buy Xiaomi (Redmi) products on AliExpress and they have earbuds, smartwatch, tablets and other electronics of great quality and value. I'm rocking their Redmi Watch 8 Pro and got my husband Redmi Watch 9 Pro recently. I also used to have their earbuds that had the best audio quality for calls (I gifted them to a friend). Their power banks and chargers, are amazing too! Some other things I get from AliExpress: - earrings - phone cases and protective screens - sex toys - cables and adapters - repair parts for electronics A lot of the stuff is exactly the same as on Amazon but you can save money by waiting for delivery a little longer, and I don't mind.

Recommendations for a repairable robot vacuum?
Robot vaccums pretty much all seem pretty easily user replaceable which is really nice. A mess of electronics and design could be better for sure but better than the glue filled monstrosities that phones and laptops have become. I ended up just buying a cheap Xaomi and it’s a similar story.
