  What mens snow boots are BIFL and aren’t lace-up? Bonus if waterproof too.

  Full tongue leather lace-up is what you want for bifl. Seal appropriately with sno-seal and they're waterproof. Replace soles and outers as needed at a cobbler. But the insulated xtra-tufs are like the official shoe of Alaska if youre looking for a waterproof pull on rubber boot. They're really durable, for rubber boots. Definitely better than mucks.

  I am a sustainability educator and finding things that last are a bit part of that. I’ve done quite a bit of research on possible options.   Rain boots?

  Check out xtratuffs, they're the boot of Alaska, everyone from professional fishermen to college girls wear them year round. They used to be made in American, but went over sea a few years ago. I have two pairs, one is made in the US the other isn't, but they're both going strong. The way they're cut, you won't have calf slap.
