What’s the BIFL item that you love but everyone around you thinks is ridiculous?
Never tried the thumb stud, but I have closed them that way. I carry my custom 110 outside of work in a clip-on sheath, but a Zero Tolerance Hinderer at work, where seconds sometimes matter.

BIFL : Commander by Emerson Knives the only knife you can completely take apart and the warranty is still good
0300 series is still one of the best built ZTs IMO. If you dont mind the size it is a great all around blade. Ive got an 0301 I still carry quite a bit. Rock solid and timeless design all these years later (didnt it come out around 2006?).

Not who you were replying to, but I'm a huge fan of Zero Tolerance. I've got an Emerson collab 0620cf and it's fucking awesome. I also have an 0300, that knife is goddamn bulletproof

I actually have a ZT 0620cf and I love it. It's worth the 240$ I payed in fit and finish and it's absolutely rock solid.

Exactly. ZT/Kershaw will honor their warranty whether or not it has been disassembled. This isnt unique to Emerson knives. Sadly, ZT builds a better Emerson than Emerson does! Check out the ZT 0620 and the 0630.
