The Best Mattress to Buy at the Moment?
I've had a Casper mattress for the past 5 years or so and I would definitely recommend it, feels as firm and supportive as day one. Prior to that I had a Zinus mattress for nearly ten years which I would highly recommend if you're on a super tight budget.

BIFL Options for Metal Bed Frame
I went through the same search last year and the only metal frame that truly held up was a Zinus platform model. No squeaking, no wobbling, and it has holes for headboard mounting. After a year it still looks new and I haven’t had to tighten anything.

Is the thuma bed worth it?
As a counter point, we have the Zinus look alike that was muuuuch cheaper and have had it for 3 years now. My wife are both on the larger side and can be very passionate, and it's held up like a rock. Really depends on if you want to pay the extra because I don't think it's "heirloom quality", anyway, but I'm sure it's nicer than our zinus

Need a mattress from Amazon or anywhere that can deliver quickly. Any recommendations?
I sleep on a helix in my bedroom. It's a bed in a box type of thing, and personally I love it. Best bed I've ever slept on. I found a local dealer, she showed me the best price that they had on their website with coupons and whatever, and then beat it by quite a bit. When my son needed a new mattress, we went back to her, and she sold us her floor model for dirt cheap. So I'd say don't overlook floor models. That said we have a zinus in our camper. We got ours from Sam's (I try to avoid the big A at all costs, but you can get them there too). I'm old, and fat, but it gets the job done. It will never replace my helix as my favorite mattress ever, but it does provide me a decent night's sleep. And for a lot less.

The Best Mattress to Buy Now?
The Casper element is great, but if you're looking to save some money I'd highly recommend a Zinus

A good mattress, do they exist anymore?
Ours is a king and we just have a basic one from wayfair. The frame matters less than the boxspring/base you have under it for making your mattress last. We got the Zinus brand from amazon. Have had zero problems and is still in perfect shape!

A good mattress, do they exist anymore?
I love my bed in a box memory foam mattress. An ex had one and I couldn’t stay awake in it for more than 30 mins when it would normally take a minimum of an hour to fall asleep. Live and sleep elite - firm works for me. I already had a memory foam topper so I use them together. No sagging 6-7 years later. Going for about $600 My roommate got a Zinus - firm and still going strong 5-6 yrs later. Going for about $300.

Looking for durable bed frame!
Seconding Zinus. I bought one almost a decade ago when I was in my first apartment when I upgraded bed size for my now husband who was staying over every night. We've moved it 3 times since, and it's still going. I've considered upgrading it to a more "grown up" look but everytime I mention it my husband just says "why though?". Its never given us problems, and it's got good height so we can store things under it. At one point I was weighing in at about 200 lbs (thanks COVID/depression. Thankfully only 15 more lbs to go to hit my goal) and my husband is around 6ft/230lbs - and it hasn't had any issues.

Looking for a Sturdy Wooden Mid Century Style Bed Frame
I actually just had [this bed frame](https://www.homedepot.com/pep/Zinus-Linda-Wood-Brown-Queen-Mid-Century-Platform-Bed-Frame-FPWHVP-12Q/317216720?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&pla&utm_source=google&utm_medium=vantage&utm_campaign=59060&utm_content=61474&mtc=SHOPPING-RM-RMP-GGL-Multi-Multi-NA-ZINUS-NA-PMAX-3078650-NA-MK0-59060-NBR-3282-NA-VNT-PMAX&cm_mmc=SHOPPING-RM-RMP-GGL-Multi-Multi-NA-ZINUS-NA-PMAX-3078650-NA-MK0-59060-NBR-3282-NA-VNT-PMAX-22399236947--&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22399242137&gbraid=0AAAAAolLu99tiJsOzURRxRl-AFWY6Pji_) delivered yesterday and I love it. I haven’t found any particle board sections, it’s super solid, and looks just like the picture. Now obviously I can’t vouch for it long term but the reviews are great and you can’t beat that price.

Sleeping Duck Indestruct Bed - It's worth the hype IMHO
We got a Zinus frame and mattress on Amazon after hearing rave reviews irl. It's been 5 years, still comfy as all hell. Did wonders for my back. No squeaks or groans at all and we're both plus sized and have an "active nighttime routine". I think we paid $450 for the mattress and $300 for the frame/slats.

Zinus Vs. Ikea Bed Quality
We've had a king size zinus 18" smartbase heavy duty (I think that's what it was called) since 2019 it's still going strong without any issues. Can't speak for the wen version you're looking at but I'm pretty happy with the quality of ours.

Sleeping Duck Indestruct Bed - It's worth the hype IMHO
This, Zinus basic metal frame is $120 with 3000lbs capacity and basic squeak-free construction, last forever cuz it’s just steel. Dunno how spending 10x the price gives you more value than an indestructible 3000lbs capacity frame. Even if you threw a huge orgy on the bed, you’re unlikely to approach its capacity.

Sleeping Duck Indestruct Bed - It's worth the hype IMHO
I have a Zinus bought from Amazon for around... $150? $200? Something very modest. It's survived multiple international and domestic moves, never had an issue, plus the frame and slats theoretically folded up to be stored in the headboard for easy moving. My only gripe was that it wasn't *quite* tall enough to accommodate Ikea under bed storage containers. But that's a really minor complaint that could have been avoided if I had thought to look at the under bed clearance measurements beforehand.

Sleeping Duck Indestruct Bed - It's worth the hype IMHO
I have a Zinus frame, too. We just moved and getting the bed out of the house took 10 minutes. Most of it was the mattress, then finding taking off the non-Zinus headboard we had attached later. Take apart the two halves, bend it in half to go around corners, carry it down all by yourself. Didn't even fold the legs down. And we got a high one, so I have 8 bins under the bed for storage. No need for a box frame. I don't know why people would buy anything else.

Sleeping Duck Indestruct Bed - It's worth the hype IMHO
We just picked up our second “Zinus” from Amazon. £122. Super easy to put together and never heard so much as a squeak from either one. It’s one of those purchases that I will confidently “cheap out” on. And then, like you said, put the saved money towards as nicer mattress as possible.

Zinus Vs. Ikea Bed Quality
My wife and I bought a Zinus after reading the great reviews for our really heavy foam King-mattress... This thing is so awesome!. Easy to put together, ridiculously strong - no movement whatsoever, makes literally no creaking sounds after 6+ years. Plus you get a lot of storage underneath as well... We were so impressed we bought all our kids one as gifts! Hightly recommend!

Zinus Vs. Ikea Bed Quality
I’ve had two Zinus bed frames, and both were great and lasted years. I got ride of the first one because of a move, not because there was anything wrong with it. I have also had a Zinus end table for almost a decade and it looks like new.

Walmart online carries Zinus which lasts a long time. We got the firm version with the memory top layer and it’s been great.

Best couch/sofa for durability & aesthetic?
I’ve had the [Zinus Benton Sofa](https://www.reddit.com/user/Accurate_Shine5695/comments/1jfd25h/best_couches_you_can_buy_right_now/) for 8 months now, and it’s been great for the price (usually around $300-$400). The cushions were firm at first but softened up nicely over time. The frame is sturdy, and the fabric (polyester) is surprisingly durable, resisting everyday wear. Assembly took about 20 minutes with no tools required, which was a huge plus. For a budget-friendly sofa that looks stylish, holds up well, and doesn’t break the bank, this is a solid choice!
