Please help! Need dishwasher
Our house came with a cheaper 100 series Bosch back in 2017, and even that one has been working great. In our prior home we had an expensive GE, and while it was fancier I don't think there's much (any?) difference in how well they clean the dishes

24" stackable washer dryer recommendations
Hi there, thanks for writing! So we had a bumpy road but it worked out ok in the end. We initially went with a 24" Bosch 500 washer/ventless dryer combo. Worked great for a little bit, but the dryer started to fail after about 5 months -- I suspect the lint built up and where it a "self-cleaning" (though nonremovable) heatpump, we couldn't access it and service it ourselves. Other parts failed as a result from the buildup and despite some repairs, they didn't take. The outcome? We got Bosch to replace our 500. We went with a 300 -- technically a downgrade, but it has a removable condenser filter, plus accessible sump pump. THAT ensures we can clean out any lint buildup much easier than before. The 300 dryer and 500 washer are working nicely together and have been doing so for just about a year now. We put it through the paces, but use a low amount of detergent and NO disposable dryer sheets (using them is a big no no for Bosch units). I do a full clean on the dryer every 2-3 weeks (clean lint trap by running it under the tap/air drying, clean lint out of condenser filter, remove sump pump hatch and clean out any lint there, then put them all back together when air dried for awhile). Seems to keep things running nicely. I can confirm that the ventless dryer can work well, but if you do go that route, look up some Youtube videos on whether they can be cleaned/self serviced. If you see "self clean" or "non-removal heat pump", suggest to stay away. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions! Good luck in making our decision!

Top BIFL Household Items for Starting Over
The Bosch 300 series at Costco can use wifi, but doesn’t require it. They may change, though, because it is older stock.

Best Food Processor? Which brand is actually worth it?
It is clear that you don't know what you're talking about with regard to dishwashers, cookware especially plastic, or sharp edges. You're stuck in your ways and your ways are wrong. Cookware does not ever go in the dishwasher. Not ever. It's bad for it and won't be BIFL. I have no hope for you - my comments are for others. "Dishwasher safe" is determined by marketing people who want to sell you replacement cookware. Ours is even simpler than this [https://www.bosch-home.com/us/en/mkt-product/dishwashers/top-controls/SHX5AEM6N](https://www.bosch-home.com/us/en/mkt-product/dishwashers/top-controls/SHX5AEM6N) \- no IoT, no WiFi, no voice control. Quieter. Noise is from poor sound isolation, not less cleaning - you wouldn't now about that though. Ours does have a supplemental water heater (see reference above because you're wrong - hot water cleans better).

Dishwasher recommendations
Bosch. Had our 300 series for over 10years. Worked great for a 3 kid house even during Covid lockdown. Replaced even though it worked fine bc I was upgrading stuff and a few of the little stick things got rusted. Now I have a 500 series and I love it too
