Leak Proof and Improved Water Flow Eddy+ is the crowd favourite Eddy, and now redesigned to be even better!! The improved bite valve design delivers 25% more flow. The universal cap is leak-proof when closed and spill-proof when open, features an easy carry handle, and is compatible with Chute Mag and Hot Cap vessels. Lightweight, durable, and dishwasher safe. BPA, BPS, and BPF free. Tritan Renew Tritan Renew is powered by a revolutionary new recycling technology that transforms single-use waste into basic building blocks that are then used to make durable, high performance, food-safe materials. This process offsets the use of fossil fuels and lowers greenhouse gas emissions. Tritan Renew is a Polyester Renewal Technology (PRT) manufactured by Eastman and now used by Camelbak, which is a more efficient process and produces material that is made with 50% recycled content. Polyester Renewal Technology (PRT) breaks plastic waste down into its monomer building blocks, creating new copolyester plastic without any compromise. This means your new Camelbak bottle will be better for the environment.

With a new style of water bottle popping up every year, Which one have you stuck with?
CamelBak Eddy is my go to -I had one last 4 years, till I lost it. And many others. Great warranty on parts and I love the nipple action.

For a real water bottle, my Camelbak Eddy is my go-to. I have broken a couple of the plastic ones when I dropped them through the years (all over 5 years old when I did so), and bought a metal one. I use it weekly if not daily. For more of a Stanley style, I use a Frost Buddy Thicc Buddy. I have both the 40 and 50 oz versions, but use my 40 on the daily.

I really like (insulated) water bottles with a sip/straw type opening, but the straw always seems to crack within 1-2 years. Any BiFL type options?
I've had the stainless insulated [20 oz. Eddy+](https://www.camelbak.com/shop/water-bottles/everyday/eddy-20-oz-water-bottle-insulated-stainless-steel/CB-1649.html?dwvar_CB-1649_color=Navy) for a few years, but I had a plastic insulated one before that, and I have a 16 oz. uninsulated plastic one from a very long time ago as well. The 20 oz. is great for me for everyday use – not too big/heavy but holds enough water that I don't run out between opportunities to refill. It fits in my car cupholder, but just barely. I just got a [Thrive flip cap](https://www.camelbak.com/shop/thrive-flip-straw-accessory-cap/CB-3120.html?dwvar_CB-3120_color=Black) because I always wanted one that covered the bite valve when not in use, but it's important to note that it doesn't come set up with a bite valve, just a perma open silicone mouthpiece, so it's not spillproof unless closed. Thankfully they make a [bite valve compatible with that lid](https://www.camelbak.com/shop/thrive-bite-valve-and-straw/CB-3096.html?dwvar_CB-3096_color=Clear), so now I finally have a spillproof water bottle with a covered bite valve.
