What’s a purchase that’s not fun, not flashy but now you swear by it?
Both consumables but — Cerave lotion. I get itchy winter skin but most lotions either don’t help or make me feel icky. Cerave works and sinks it quickly. Dawn Powerwash. 2025 Christmas Thread - Best Christmas gift ideas?
If I but anything life changing during the year, I usually will buy a few for Christmas gifts as well. Last year it was scrub daddies and dawn powerwash, and folks really loved them. This year it will be a couple of kinds of cheese, mini jams, olives or cornichins, and crackers or bread, maybe a small box of chocolates. Not expensive, and always appreciated.

I messed up and need help
I would try dawn power wash. Patch test it first. I was costume crew for a stage play that involved literally buckets of blood every night and heavy duty degreaser was the main thing we used to get the costumes clean.
