Printer Recommendation For Home Office (w/Minimal Errors or Paper Jams)?
Epson Ecotank

Looking for a printer
Yes. I spent several hours doing a bunch of research into the various printers and eventually went with an Epson Inkjet EcoTank printer as at least you can get 3rd party ink and even OEM ink isn't that expensive. Definitely more hassle to deal with than a laser printer as I had to set a reminder for myself to print a test page weekly to avoid nozzle issues.

What is the equivalent of "Apple removed 3.5mm jack" of your favorite products ?
Buy an inktank printer then. I have an Epson ecotank with a scanner. Well worth it for the several years I've been using it.

No BS printer with cheap prints
Everyone is gonna scream brother laser, but it's black and white, and you're going to pay more for color and a scanner. The Epson ecotank has everything. I have been using mine on the ink it came with for literally 6 years, and I feel like I could go 3 or 4 more. My color is half gone, my black is full and I have half a bottle left which could basically fill it again.

Recommendations for color laser printer?
Yeah, I have seen the same Brother laser really do last forever. I actually compared a bunch of models recently and put together a [little Guide](. The Epson Eco tank keeps ink costs low and works great for home use.

Need a color printer that's non subscription based and has cheap ink
Unless the tech has drastically changed, laser is best for fast prints of text, while inkjet is best for quality photos. We have an "Epson ecotank" inkjet wifi printer thats been great.

What’s one item you bought that way outperformed its price?
Epson Ecotank printer. Ive had it almost 6 years or so and am still on the ink it came with. I print pretty consistently except for a period of one year where it sat. I ran the maintenance purging the lines which took several hours and it printed good as new after.

The best printer for home use to buy? What do you recommend right now?
Another vote here for Epson Ecotank. Switched from an HP that I wanted to go full 'Office Space's on. Zero regrets.

The best printer for home use to buy? What do you recommend right now?
+1 for the Ecotank. I've had one for 3 years with no issues and a place I worked at had an older Ecotank they printed 300+ pages a week with with no issues. Mine doesn't clog up when not used for a while but ymmv

The best printer for home use to buy? What do you recommend right now?
I use an Epson Ecotank for my small business. I got it in 2020 and it works like the day I got it. if you go the inkjet route, you absolutely NEEEDDD to print with it regularly, or else the ink will dry up on the print heads

What type of printer have the lowest per-page cost? (Laser, Inkjet, ..)
Canon Megatank (With Replaceable Heads & Inkpads) & Epson Ecotanks (With replaceable Ink pads). No laser printer comes close to the per page cost of 0.3 cents per page, not even monochrome lasers. One refill will give you close to 7000 pages b/w or colour; original refills cost you around 60$ for 4 genuine bottles. If you buy aftermarkets from reputed brands (such as LD), the cost is halved 20-30$= 7000 pages. These are the best printers for bulk printing. Only suitable if you use it regularly (at least twice a week, all colour print(CMYK)). If you must replace a head, its easily replaceable and you don't have to replace ink pads often as long as you don't do a lot of head cleanings. Besides that its much cheaper to run continuously (15W vs 1000W for a laser), no toner waste other than small plastic bottles, and the printers generally cost about 1/2 or less than that of a laser printer.
