What are the best jeans brands (and model)?
I love Levi’s 501s. Make sure they’re 100% cotton (no stretch) and if you can afford it I’d recommend the premium line. If you want to go up another tier, try looking at raw selvedge pairs. I love my True Guy fit from Naked and Famous. If you want raw selvedge for a bit cheaper, Unbranded is another great brand I wear.

501s are a classic, but the quality of the 501 hasn’t been good for a very long time. Expect what you pay for. They will wear out faster than a pair from 50 years ago. That said, everyone should have at least one pair of 501s. I have one in black too. Such a classic cut.

I bought some a couple years back and they're nice, I can't speak to the current quality though. But the 501 is my preferred fit these days, maybe I'll snag a couple pairs.
