Who swears by an Otterbox Defender despite the negative feedback it often receives?
I put the commuter on my kids phone, iPhone 13 mini on the second kid, still kickin. I had one years ago and it kept my phone safe. The defender is a little overkill for me with the screen being covered. Over time the screen cover will show wear but it’s probably (about) the best you are going to get protection wise imo.

I've used an OtterBox Defender or Commuter on every phone I've had for over a decade. Have yet to crack a screen.

Otterbox Commuters are awesome. 3 of us have been using them exclusively for the past 3-5 phones we have. They last forever, slide into pockets well, aren’t stupid bulky, and you can get them hella cheap on Amazon.

I had an OtterBox commuter on my old phone and it provided a decent amount of protection but the port covers only lasted a couple months before falling off. They mostly got in the way.

I’ve used a OtterBox commuter on my last three phones and have never once had an issue after multiple drops and such
