Durable electric shaver recommendations – replacing an ageing Braun Series 5
Been using a Panasonic Arc5 for like 6 years now and it's still going strong - hits all your boxes and the replacement heads are way cheaper than Braun stuff

Panasonic ARC5 (ES-LV95) Electric Razor: 5 years strong
thanks. I am pretty sure the lv65 and lv95 are literally the exact same shaver, just one comes with the stand and the other doesn't, so we are good on that front.

Panasonic ARC5 (ES-LV95) Electric Razor: 5 years strong
I also had this shaver for 5 years, and never once replaced anything. I have been using the original blades that came with it e v e r y s i n g l e d a y for 5 years straight, and just now am I feeling like I should replace the blades. I do rinse the blades off after every use, and every month or 2 I do deep clean the blades (but not with the solution, I manually clean it with soap, water, and a tooth brush). I agree, this shaver is a godsend.

Electric Razor - Braun? Philips?
Love the Panasonic Arc 5. Fantastic shave at the fraction of the price of a Braun.

Electric Razor - Braun? Philips?
Panasonic Arc is the best! It’s a foil shaver like the Braun but everything I have ever owned by Panasonic has been top notch performance and reliability wise. Having said that I also have a Norelco that doesn’t die but the foil shaver cuts closer and more comfortably for me.

Love my Panasonic Arc 5. Close, quiet and comfortable. Relatively cheap on Amazon.
