Brilliance Glass Food Storage Container Set
Rubbermaid Brilliance Glass Food Storage Containers are intelligently crafted, and beautifully designed. These glass containers have clear plastic lids with a 100% airtight, leak-proof seal and secure latches to make reheating and storing easy. Built-in vents under the latches allow steam to escape so you can microwave food splatter-free, without removing the lid. Crystal-clear lids and bases make it easy to see whats stored inside. The lids are made with StainShield plastic so they're stain and odor resistant, helping them stay looking like new. These food storage containers are space saving, with a modular design for perfect organization and stacking in your fridge or cabinet. The universal lids fit across all Rubbermaid Brilliance containers, regardless of material type. These Rubbermaid containers are BPA-free, microwave-safe, dishwasher-safe, and freezer-safe. The glass container bases are also oven safe up to 450 degrees F.

What are the Best Glass Food Storage Containers Available Now? Recommendation
I use the Rubbermaid, both glass and plastic. They share a lid design, so if it's not going to be heated or going to work i can do the plastic and they all share a lid. I do use the 9.6 cup for baking in and their plastic as larger storage as well. I use the pantry ones as well. I try to keep everything in one ecosystem and grab the units only when they are on sale. The only round I use are the arrow with the lids, that I use for serving sizes of mixed berries.

Lunchbox Recommendations
I personally really like the [Rubbermaid Brilliance Glass](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=rubbermaid+brilliance+glass+food+storage+containers&crid=6YVAVRHH188K&sprefix=rubbermaid+brilliance+glass+%2Caps%2C230&ref=nb_sb_ss_p13n-pd-dpltr-ranker_ci_tech-br-left_1_28) food storage containers since they're not plastic, the glass is durable and thick, the vented lid design works great, and they don't leak when closed. Highly recommend, got a pack a while ago, all still in perfect condition.

Modern alternatives to Tupperware?
We've used the Rubbermaid Brilliance for a decade or so. We started with the plastic ones. The 3.2.cup size work so nicely for leftovers and hubby's lunches. They last for years with daily fridge/microwave/dishwasher use. As they've aged, I've begun replacing them with their glass counterparts (confusingly, also called Rubbermaid Brilliance). The lids are plastic and interchangeable with their older cousins. I was so happy to see they have a small glass casserole sized one, with a plastic lid for popping in the fridge. So handy.

Looking for Tupperware alternatives
I’m debating between the Ello brand and Rubbermaid brilliance glass food storage containers right now. I have both, but I think I prefer the ello for the silicone on them (easier to hold when warmed up and not as loud when stacking, moving around). They do both have plastic lids, though they don’t really ever touch the food so I am not too worried. Both stack nicely in a cupboard as well Everything not “meal sized” goes in mason jars or recycled glass jars, Pyrex with silicone lids, or aluminum tins for items that will not need reheated. We also have some silicone bags, but they are more annoying to clean and they seem to not hold their ability to click together very long (maybe I am just buying the wrong kind idk)

Recommendations for glass food storage and knife set please
Rubbermaid Brilliance … has never leaked on me yet and nor has the lids warped. Also agreed with no knife set - just invest in the ones you will use - chef, paring etc. I have a Global set but I barely use the other knives. Not to mention I haven’t found the courage to try and sharpen my knives by myself.
