Headphones for sensitive friend
I second the bone conduction headphones. Though I think Aftershokz rebranded to Shokz. I like their traditional model called Openrun. But if they're mainly going to be using it at their computer for voice chat, I'd recommend the Opencomm model. Both models offer an open ear design where nothing actually is in the ear canal. As someone who hates earbuds, I can wear these all day with zero discomfort. So much so I can forget that I have them on sometimes.

In ear headphones. Plz help. Tired of replacing constantly.
Shokz openrun (not in-ear I know) are fantastic i.m.o. I also have Jabra in-ears which are borderline indestructible, but I understand they stopped selling those.

I switched to Shockz OpenRun and they have been working much better. But they are not in ear.

Wireless earbuds that still let you hear outside?
I apparently have the shokz model s803. I'm not sure what the branding model on them is but that's what the little label on the inside says. They were like $75 on sale at Costco. My only complaint is the proprietary charger means I never move the charger bc I don't want to have to buy a new one. But the life is long enough on them that that's ok, and if they do go low when I want to say so some chores, 10 minutes charging is enough to use them for quite a while.

Wireless Earbuds that are Specifically *Durable*
My partner uses shokz open run and has had them for two years with no issues so far. I don't know if they exactly count as ear buds, but they are lightweight and bluetooth. Good sound quality, too.

need bluetooth earbuds that rest on your neck and are attached to a cable
You may not be familiar with the bone conductive headsets that stay outside your ears and wrap around the back of your head. I‘ve had the OpenRun model for several years now — no complaints. [https://shokz.com/](https://shokz.com/)
