You've heard of surround sound speakers but what about surround sound headphones? With 360 Reality Audio, you can immerse yourself in any music and feel like you're in the studio or on the stage. Use the 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer app to analyze your ear shape and optimize your own unique spatial sound field. The sound in the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones is supported by built-in noise-canceling technology. Using microphones and Auto NC Optimizer sensors, your headphones are able to dramatically reduce more high and mid-frequency noises than ever before based on your environment. Eight separate microphones filter noise through processors for unprecedented noise-canceling quality. A light and rigid driver inside the wireless headphones also aids noise reduction by improving bass reproduction and sound clarity.

Sony WF1000XM3, the only wireless earbuds to last me over a year, now owned for 5 years.
Yeah I had these and fucking hated them tbh, always losing connection, mediocre battery life, not charging in the case, etc. Had them only for a year before I couldn’t stand them anymore. Liked the XM4s much better; love the XM5s I have now, minimal connection issues, have had them the longest at 3 years so far with no plans to replace anytime soon.

Best over the ear headphones
The [Sony WH1000XM5](https://x.com/SmartBuyFinder/status/1963514906931597771) noise cancellation is incredible, and they’re so comfortable I forget I’m even wearing them. Most headphones usually make my ears ache, but not these. The sound is clean and detailed, switching between devices is super easy, and the battery life is excellent

Need new Over ear headphones
There might be, but an open back makes it almost impossible to have good noise canceling which is the main strength of the Sony XM series
