High quality coffee thermos that will look good and last?
I'm a man in my 40s and love my Stanley Master series. My wife got one for me about two years ago and it’s been through all sorts of abuse, dropped it, tossed it in my work truck, even used it while helping out at my friend’s ranch.

BIFL request: A thermos that actually keeps tea hot for hours
It’s called the Classic Vacuum Bottle, it is 1 Qt and has flown out of my truck so many times when I got out and forgot it was on my lap. I also have the Travel Classic Trigger Action mug, 16 oz, and use it frequently. It holds heat for a good amount of time, and after maybe 9 years of use the trigger cap broke. I emailed Stanley, they sent me a complete, brand new trigger action mug. They literally have a lifetime guarantee. I will forever use Stanley.

Grandad almost certainly would have had a [Stanley Vacuum Bottle](http://www.amazon.com/Stanley-Classic-Vacuum-Bottle-Hammertone/dp/B000FZX93K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449424919). As /u/capolan notes, it would have been glass lined while today's are stainless steel, but they're otherwise pretty much unchanged from 75 years ago.
