[Request]What are some gadgets that changed your life?
Thanks for the info. I just upgraded my keychain with the OLIGHT I1R II and Victorinox Mini Champ. I basically copied you with maybe a minor tweak lol. The real test will be the bottle opener on the SWA. I've ruined three or four key chain bottle openers in the past.

Someone left this plastic piece of junk at my work. Does anyone make a BIFL quality pen with similar features?
I have one of these and don't find it to be useful. While I don't know of a pen multitool that is better, you might consider multitools that include pens. I would look at the SAK mini champ or the up-coming hacksmith Smith blade. The mini champ has been a great edc item with a lot of functionality built in.

What’s a super boring purchase that ended up making your life easier?
I have used the Mini Champ or variant thereof for 25+ years. Lost my first one to TSA in the early 2000s and immediately replaced it. I keep one at the office, one on my motorcycle keychain, and another in our garage entryway. It was indispensable when the kids were young for Xmas and birthdays, and now for package deliveries. I worked in IT for many years and the little Phillips was handy for opening computers and installing/replacing components. Scissors are always handy for loose threads, annoying seals on bottles, trimming nails, and the cuticle pusher handles larger flathead screws. I have a collection of Leathermans but the little Victorinox models are super useful.
