Yeti Ramblers. I have their 12oz(*drink on way to work*), 18oz(*home use*), and 36/46oz(*work winter/summer*) bottles, plus a Yonder for extra water in the summer. The Ramblers all have modified HotShot caps to basically add a carry ring. Also one of their mugs for water(*lid keeps cat from sticking her face in it...*) Though they can fuck off with the new thing of all their <20oz mugs/cups having a ceramic lining. If I had wanted a ceramic cup, I would have bought a ceramic cup, not a steel one I can beat up and not worry about it shattering.

Yeti rambler in various sizes. Tried other water bottles and to me, these are the best.

My dad gave me a yeti tumbler (rambler?) at one point and its been the steadfast go to for me. I basically swap between it, a larger version I got from Steel Beast, and a 48oz Nalgene for backpacking. Given the mold growth Ive found in Nalgenes before, Im really more partial to the steel. Been debating getting a yeti I can take to the gym.

Yeti Rambler, 36oz, straw cap. It’s built like a tank. Had it about six years. If something happened to it, I’d probably want another one just like it. It’s nothing fancy. It’s just well designed and well built.

I have a yeti rambler that I’ve been using for around five years and aside from a couple dents, it looks new. All our hydro flasks and knock-offs would have lost quite a bit of paint at that point.

As an ice water girlie, YETI RAMBLER! I have the 26 oz which is perfect for me to refill at school like once or twice but my fiance is crazy and I think his is 40 oz and he lugs it around all day. Water stays cold for DAYS (more so in his with the “chug” cap it comes with, I bought the sippy lid because I prefer it but I feel it does let a little more “cold” out bc more air gets out? But they’re so invincible I’m obsessed

Yeti insulated rambler I dont use plastic in anything i eat off of if i can prevent it, so stainless steel was the choice for me. Anything plastic is just not worth it for me health wise.

With a new style of water bottle popping up every year, Which one have you stuck with?
I have had a yeti rambler with a chug cap for like 8 years now. It’s the best bottle and it still looks basically new. They also made my every day coffee cup. I own a total of 3 bottles/cups (a straw cup, a spill proof bottle and a coffee mug) and I use them every day. They were a great investment for me and wash really well.

No way. Owala was highly recommended years ago by travel YouTubers, but then it absolutely caught fire a couple of years ago. It was all the rage. I don't use my gf's because I just love the simplicity and robust nature of my Yeti Rambler. They're bullet proof.

Yeti 64oz Rambler owner here. Been issuing this daily since 2015 without a problem. No dents, no leaking o-rings, no broken pieces, etc. Solid, reliable, performant product. If by chance something does fail, replacement parts are abundant, due to brand name.

I have the Yeti Rambler, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it, have only had it for about 4 months tho so I can't comment on the longevity aspect but it seems sturdy enough. It is a hefty boi though!

As an anecdote, the only water bottle I’ve had that has survived more or less unscathed through travel, drops onto rocks, being banged around, etc, has been a Yeti Rambler. Sure it doesn’t keep drinks quite as cold as a hydro flask or other brands but I still have ice after hours outside in 100 degree plus heat, and most of the hydro flasks I’ve seen in the wild are dented up.

Water bottle recommendations?
yeti rambler bottles! you can get the chug cap but I prefer the straw lid, either way the ice in ny water stays frozen all day

Looking for insulated 1 liter water bottle
If you want to avoid plastic completely, go for stainless steel inside and out. The Owala FreeSip stainless (not the plastic version) is solid, but if you want something more minimal, look at Klean Kanteen or the YETI Rambler bottles. Both are tough, insulated, and no plastic touching the water. Just double check the lid, some have small silicone or plastic seals, but no plastic contact with the water itself.

BIFL request: A thermos that actually keeps tea hot for hours
I have a yeti 32 oz rambler with the screw top lid, Ive had it for most of a decade. It’s kept my tea hot to the point of needing to pour it in a separate cup to drink it even overnight, in negative temps through blizzards and nor’easter ice storms while I was homeless for years. Has survived repeated drops on concrete and gravel without any notable scratches. Works just as well for iced drinks. Ive kept straight up ice cubes in there for 3 days without any melting. If you prefer it to have a smaller thermos cup, or a straw lid, or similar, they offer a variety of different lid options, I just recently got a straw lid and it works really well, but I think it insulates slightly less. Also, the rambler is EASY to clean, it has a huge opening, and a super solid handle. The smaller sized ones work just as well, but I haven’t owned them long enough to say BIFL, but they seem the same as the 32oz rambler.

What's a high quality BIFL that you carry with you every day and can't leave home without it.
Yeti rambler. H20 all day.

Water bottle that keeps water cold?
I’m late but you want a Yeti Rambler; I prefer the chug cap. I drink a gallon of water a day so my bottle is literally always in reach. Of course there are many similar options but the build quality on the Yeti is easily noticeable in my opinion. Owning both, I think I could use the Yeti bottle to beat up my Hydroflask like it’s an empty soda can

Water bottle that keeps water cold?
I’ve had a Yeti Rambler 36oz for several years, and it’s excellent. Have two types of caps, straw and chug. It seems like it stays cold a long time but I haven’t done any testing. Solid purchase, would do again.

I have a YETI Rambler on its way to me. I know it is not the best isolator, I just thinks it looks cool (no pun intended).

Didn’t expect this to last me 10+ years… but here we are
Got a Yeti rambler at a thrift shop for $5 a decade ago. Still my daily driver at work for hydration. Also a Klean Kanteen my now wife gave me that was already beat up for when I need a container I can toss in a bag. My flowfold wallet is finally getting to the point where it’s falling apart, 15 years or so after buying it.

Anyone have good experiences with glass travel mugs?
I have a Yeti Rambler and it's honestly amazing. My wife got one as a gift a year ago and I insisted I wanted one for my last birthday. The lid has no unreachable parts so it's super easy to clean and the stainless steel internals have held up way better than any previous SS mug we've had. Zero signs of staining or build up. The drinking spout feels good on your mouth, and of course, it keeps coffee hot hot hot.

Water bottle that doesn’t leak when left in car (heat expansion)
Second this. I keep a 1/2 gallon yeti Rambler in the back of mine for emergencies and it’s never leaked.

Water bottle that doesn’t leak when left in car (heat expansion)
Used to be a courier with Fedex Express, so I was constantly in and out of my truck in extreme temps year round. Both hot and cold. My daily water source was a yeti rambler gallon jug. Kinda pricey, but it definitely has proved its worth. Its now used for camping/hiking trips instead.

Yeti Rambler fell down from 3rd floor to concrete. Body is still in good shape
I got one of these because I was sick of my contigo autoseals always leaking in my lunch bag. Only downside is no more one-handed operation like the contigo, but being able to sip from anywhere on the lid is surprisingly convenient.

Best water bottle to take everywhere? One that can last very very long?
Yeti Rambler with chug cap. Mines a good few years old now with me every day working out of a van. It's seen some rough days and still going strong

Best water bottle to take everywhere? One that can last very very long?
I don’t consider Hydroflask BIFL because of how easily they damage. It’s also well known and easily searched for on Reddit on how easily Hydroflask bottles dent. These dents affect more than cosmetic performance. After my wife dropped her Hydroflask it no longer stands up at all, which is extremely inconvenient. She’s had similar drops on her Yeti Rambler and it has no denting, just cosmetic scratches.

Best water bottle to take everywhere? One that can last very very long?
Yeti Rambler / Water Bottle. Insulation works great and it's very durable. I've got Yeti Tumblers that are 10+ years old at this point that perform like they're brand new. Drops result in scratches, but not dents. People are going to say Hydroflask buy IMO they are not durable enough to call BIFL. They dent incredibly easy, if you dent the bottom they tend to wobble and my wife's won't even stand up straight anymore after a drop where it landed on the bottom.
